LOSTAR Catalytic Converter Protection Shield For 2009-2022 Fo-rd F-150

Very simple install. Only difficulty was tightening the rear 4 bolts holding the plate to the brackets. Fed the appropriate sized wrench thru the vents on the plate and installation was a snap. 30 min start to finish. Lookinking forward to future oil changes with simple access to drain plug via access door. Plate overall is quite sturdy and great value for the price.

2020 F150 5.0 - Install was fairly easy, to access the rear driver side plate bolts you’ll need to remove the driver side cat heat shield that is secured to the rear cross member and body (2 bolts - I think they were 10mm, body bolt will need an extension). 1-10 Quality of product = 9 > 1-10 Ease of installation = 6 (Need simple hand tools and patience.). Overall - Really nice light weight protection for your cats.

Like most installers - the rear bolts on the drivers side were difficult to get at. You can fit a wrench into the heat vents on the shield and with a little maneuvering, you can tighten the bolts. The shield is thick aluminum and should be better than the felt diaper.

I specifically asked the company if this fits the 2021 F150 Powerboost and they assured me that it does. It does not and I have tried several times to get ahold of company rep to assist with this problem. They refuse to return any emails and remedy the situation.

Nice thick material. Great quality. Will take some time to install.
