VISCONTI Hunter Oiled Leather Shield Wallet 707 Oil Green RFID

Had for almost 6months and all good so far. Would have paid more, looks good and seems good quality.

Having previously purchased Visconti’s 421 coin pouch, and not impressed with the plastic looking leather, I decided to give this brand another try with a real wallet. This time I am definitely more pleased since the leather is much better. It came sort of ‘weathered’ with some scuffs etc. but I applied my trusted Dubbin and it is now uniform in colour and just waiting for its natural patina to appear. What I like best though is the size, smaller than my previous wallet and yet it has two compartments for notes (much appreciated), a zipped coin pocket (which I use not for coins), a transparent ID slot (too small for any ID but useful for emergency details, PIN numbers (encrypted of course) etc.). The left side hides a large pocket where I keep a cheque, receipts etc. The zip has a quite large brass handle which I removed and replaced with a thin leather strip.I would like to carry six cards, but I found that the wallet becomes too thick, so I only carry four. This way the wallet stays very slim and doesn’t bother me when I sit. The RFID version costs only £1 more so I got that, although I don’t believe anyone will ever attempt to ’steal’ my cards details from a distance.I am pleased with the wallet and if the stitches hold I think it will last for a long time.

absolutely what I was looking for: very slim, well crafted, pure cowhide leather, not too many card holders and not too little either. There is NO need for anything more than 7 or 8 slots no matter who you are or what you do so this keeps it nice and slim and you can keep it in your back pocket and not feel like you're sitting on mobile phone from the 80s. There is no need for that 3rd inner fold many wallets have as well, it just adds to their unnecessary bulk. So very happy with seller and product, I wish there were more like you. I'd have paid far more for this.

Got this wallet forgetting that my workplace has electronic doors which are opened via a smart card which I keep in my wallet. With the wallet one way round in my pocket the doors do not work. Good. The other way round and the doors still operate. So I come to the conclusion the RFID protection is not from both sides of the wallet.Leather quality is good, pockets are a little tight for likes of a UK driving license but fine for bank cards.

This was a lovely wallet but it was a little small for the person I bought it for so I returned it. It ideal for carrying cards and a couple of notes

Good quality wallet holds notes in tight however not to keen on side opening as cards tend to slide out
