I have been using the Pedi Paws nail grinder for years now. That tool works, but it has very low power and is awkward to achieve the needed angles to shape a dogs' nails properly. I purchased the StopWoofer grinder just to see if it would make my job a little easier - it did in a BIG way! This tool is much smaller, easier to handle, recharged via USB-C (no big clunky C batteries), has two speeds (the low speed it 5x stronger than the Pedi Paws) and has LED lights (if needeed). Using this grinder is so much more simple and you can angle it however you need to. I will no longer even need to clip my dogs' nails before touching up with the grinder, I can just use the grinder because it's so effective. Will cut my grooming time in half, at least! Very happy with this purchase!

This grinder is great. I got it because I can’t use a nail clipper on my dog. Every time I do I make him bleed and feel really bad. So I bought this because I see that the groomer was using a grinder.I used it just for two or three minutes maybe two or three times a week for the first two weeks and after that he’s been super super good about it. It does a great job and it allows me to do just a little bit at a time.The light on it is particularly wonderful, because with the light on you can see where that blood vein is atI highly recommend this. P. S. I did also watch the video provided by the manufacturer.

I have a hard time doing my dogs nails but was desperate for something cheaper than the groomers so I decided to try this dremel. It works like a dream, and has a light so you can see what you’re doing and not hurt the vessel in their nails. It also grinds them down pretty fast and leaves the nails smooth! I’m very impressed and this is definitely one of my best Amazon purchases ever!

This product arrived quickly and if very well packaged, very professional package. Unit is well constructed with good weight doesn’t feel cheap or plasticy. Noise level is a bit high hence only 3 stars for noice level. Grinder works well with multiple guards and angles of approach. Follow recommendations for acclimating your furry friend to the product. Happy with this product.

My two pups won't let me clip their nails. And they won't let grind them with this. I gave them lots of opportunity to get comfortable with it, as recommended, all for naught. Spent $60 at the vets to get their nails clipped. I'm not happy.

All three are able to sit through a few minutes to trim their nails every couple weeks. Took time for them to get use to the change, but they all do not mind it now. (A few times). Used on my three dogs for a couple months now.

It was OK except it doesn’t show how far down you can go to cut your dogs nails without making them bleed since my dog has black nails and it came with a card for $25 but when you try to download it it says no longer available so it’s a scam from this third-party

Works great except it is not completely silent. If your dog has very thick nails you may need additional heavy duty file. I like the light which enables better view as you trim.
