This is a great product for measuring current and voltage in cables and powerbanks but the instructions that come with this are just awful, they do ruin an otherwise good product. Based on the instructions I won't be confident in using this device to its full potential I'm afraid.The main input for the device is via the USB-A cable which is attached. You can extend this input by plugging in a micro USB cable which is situated at the side of the unit. The outputs are in the form of 2 USB-A ports, port 1 I believe will take measurements and port 2, if used, will optimise the best charge rate.A button on the side allows the display of various measurements but to be honest the instructions don't clearly give any detail.I don't recommend this product and would advise looking for a more higher priced item on Amazon with good concise clear instructions.

It works well for devices that draw several hundred milliamps but for devices that draw, say, 40mA it will read this current as zero, unless you plug in a higher current device as well. Then it seems to pick up the differential current drain e.g you plug one device in drawing 350mA and then another at 40mA into the second port and it will show 390mA but if you just plug the 40mA device in by itself., current measures zero.Still as a convenient and quick way of confirming the power drain of a USB device it works well and the display is bright and clear. Also appears to have some capacitance and power measuring modes but I have not experimented with these yet.

I am totally impressed that a monitoring device like this is so affordable now.I have numerous devices using USB chargers and various cables and with this meter I find that output varies considerably sometimes by just changing a cable.I had a power bank with a stated capacity of 10000 mAh and it did not ever seem to charge devices very well.I found that total capacity from the power bank was only 5978 mAh using one of the options on this meter.Even factoring in the voltage change from 3.7 volts of its battery stepped up to 5 volts USB it was low on power.Also measuring volts, amps and power by sequenquential button presses gives all the information you need.Dual output and smart monitoring from the second output.I like the Red and Blue LED display.

I was looking for a device to check the charge current of my USB AA/AAA NiMH charger as I wanted to make sure it was being kind to my batteries by terminating with no trickle charge. This fits the bill perfectly and now stays permanently plugged in to a spare USB port ready for testing anything else that might be of interest.I went for this over an LCD display device as I wanted it to be easily readable from a distance in a darkened room. It is, so I'm happy. The short lead on the input side as opposed to a plug directly on the body of the device should make this less prone to accidental damage and makes it easier to plug in to USB ports in tight locations.No complaints. Very happy.

I use it on a solar charger so I know which way to move the solar panel to get the maximum output. I connect it to the solar panel and then connect the device to charge to one of the usb outputs on the tester, it has 2 outputs if required and you can see instantly which solar panel position gives you the best charging capacity. The display shows volts and amps, it is very clear and very easy to use, literally just plug and play. Excellent product.

Not going to waste your time or mine with a long review....This works well for measuring USB volt and current use and it's easy to use, accurate and well priced but it loses a star for having no micro usb output which would have been handy without my having to hunt for an adapter.

Seems small neat and easy to use only received this weekend

It works perfectly as expected, used for solar panel positioning.
