This diameter drill was required for some machine work (installing a heli-coil). It is exactly what I needed; it was a reasonable price and is a professional grade tool.

Used it on a front bumper to drill LP holes. It's a drill bit, so obviously it works well on plastic, not sure how it would work on other materials.

Cut through the metal I was working with very easily and the bit didn't break! I tend to break bits this small all the time

I'm a professional mechanic, and have been using Century cobalt bits for a few years now. Main reason for buying these versus the others is because they are made in the United States, or at least were.I just received a set of 29 Century cobalt bits this morning that were advertised with the USA as country of origin. As you can see from the pic, they were made in China. (Not just the index. The bits say China, too.) I guess I shouldn't be surprised.Sellers, please review your products regularly and update pertinent information. Little stuff like this may not seem important to you, but it matters to an increasing number of (us) buyers who are trying to keep at least some of their dollars Stateside.

Excellent cutting of harder steel alloys. It cuts through metals that standard Dewalt TiNitride bits can barely scratch.

These drill bits seem to hold up very well. I have used them to drill into hard metal without trouble. Much better than lower cost, non-cobalt drill bits

It seems to be what I was trying to replace with the Dewalt drill box, 'wish I could find some super hard-durable bits.
