Bit problematic as the envelopes are sticking at the flap, requiring a tool to open but for the price, OK in my book.

The sheets for the paper money are garbage. Seams easy come apart and make them useless to keep bills apart.

I bought this album when my five-year-old expressed an interest in coins. I had been storing them in the album and sleeves that I was gifted 30+ years ago, and of course, the plastic had deteriorated and needed replacing.The binder itself seems sturdy though we haven’t had it long enough to know if it can withstand long-term or heavy use. As you can see in the photo, there is some bowing on the front cover, but that could be related to the dry northern climate I’m in. The gold foil on the front has a bit of a “blank spot” but it’s not something I thought was worth returning the album for. We’re not avid coin collectors nor are we concerned about the “value” of what we have - we just find foreign money interesting! I know this binder and the pages and coins will be handled a lot, and so far, I’m confident that it will hold up to regular handling and use.The pages are made of a sturdy plastic. They’re pliable enough that the coin slots open relatively easily, but rigid enough that the pages don’t sag when the book is opened at an upright angle.My favourite thing about this setup is that the coin slots have “envelope flaps” that cover each of the coin slots! I can’t tell you how many times I had to re-sort the coins in that old album because it was the old-fashioned sort that just had an opening at the top. These flaps point downward, keeping the coins totally secure. Now I’m not worried about my son checking out the album on his own and dumping everything out when he inevitably tips it over.One thing this album lacks is the ability to store currencies of multiple sizes on one page. It would be great to be able to store all denominations from one country (coins of all sizes as well as bills) on one page. That would make labelling things easier and would help my son who doesn’t read yet to learn which items go together, notice the pattern of images on the coins, etc.Overall, this was a worthwhile purchase that my son and I will get lots of use from! Recommend!
