I have the most sensitive skin I've ever known anyone to have. I have contact dermatitis. I have skin allergies, properly verified with patch testing. I have pompholyx eczema.I have to wear gloves at night with moisturiser. I have to wear gloves when touching almost anything, ever, because my allergy is to an extremely common substance. I have to wear gloves in the summer, because heat and sweating sets off my pompholyx.The usual kinds of cotton gloves are too densely woven to be breathable enough for the summer and actually make my issues worse. They also have wrists that stretch out after not much use and never go back to normal, no matter how hot the wash I put on.These are woven so that the cotton is almost elastic around the wrist. I haven't yet lost a glove through waving at someone, or because it fell off in the night. They stay where they're meant to; on my hands. They're breathable, which meant I could actually play on my Playstation this summer. A first in many years! Usually I have to sit wafting and fanning my hands, trying to calm them down.These are so good that I ordered two more packs of them and will probably order some more next month.Also: I don't look like a mime, because they're not pure white.

I have psoriasis and scratch in my sleep. So wearing special gloves helps.

I initially ordered these as moisturising gloves for myself but I found them rough and uncomfortable to wear overnight. They are not smooth cotton like other moisture gloves. The cuff elastic is very snug and effected my sensitive skin.In the end I gave them to my son who bites his nails. He finds them ok to wear around the house and on his computer, they do the job in stopping him biting his fingers! Having so many in the pack also means that he can regularly change them. I put them through the washer and dryer and they come out fine.

These gloves are better than any others I have attempted to use for the same purpose, and that is why they get four stars. I suffer very bad eczema on both hands, and need to wear gloves multiple times per day to avoid smearing medical creams all over my possessions. Unlike every other brand I have used for over 10 years, these have elasticated wrists, which is an absolute godsend.They are, however, not perfect. The material is a little too open weave and after a year or so the gloves do start to degrade. Some of the fingers on my older pairs have split, and some have begun to really fall apart. The gloves also have quite a lot of starchy "stretch" to them, which could be uncomfortable with more flaky, rash-like eczema; I find them incredibly comfortable, so much that I can wear them while I sleep. They're still better than any others I've found, and for the price I can't fault 1-2 years of constant use.

This was a reorder of a product I had previously purchased with which I had been very happy. However, between purchases the supplier had switched supplies or something and these gloves were not 100% cotton, they had some kind of latex surface on the palm side of the glove. The change was slight and to the uninformed, subtle, to me it was devastating. After just two nights using the eczema on my hands and wrists had flared right back up from the good state I had, with care, achieved. Very disappointing. I have, of course, stopped using the gloves and am trying a different set off Amazon that advertises itself as “pure cotton”..... hope it is not hit and miss on the description!

I developed contact dermatitis from wearing non latex gloves for long stretches. I brought these to wear at night and under my washing up gloves and stuff. They have been excellent for this purpose, succesfully keeping moisture to a minimum and allowing hand cream to soak in. The best bit for me was the longer,slightly elasticated wrist section on the glove which allowed for the protection of my wrist too and held them in place better than other cotton gloves I had tried. I have small hands and the finger length on each pair was a little variable, this was not a problem for me though.

The product was good value for money. I suffer from severe eczema , the gloves controlled the itching whilst asleep and were really comfy.

Goid value but not the white gloves I was expecting. More beige with navy elastic on wrist.also fabrics of quite loose knit. Not good foe moisturise
