JUST LOVE these black w/white snowflake pj's !!!
LOVE these waffle pj's! Love the style & b&w snowflake pattern w/it's saturated colors, but they do need a quick wash before wearing as they feel a bit rough on outside. Top was roomy & comfortable, sleeve length just past wrist bone. I'm 5'1 & 93lbs so bottoms very roomy on me. They have elastic waist & lots of hip & leg room w/ cuffed ankles. Waist was too big on me but a few stitches on both sides resolved that. Even though the outside felt rough they were warm & fairly soft inside. Wore them the rest of the day & slept in them that night warm & comforable. Highly recommend & will be buying more.

Runs big, won’t shrink
Love the 80% cotton feel, these seem to run a little big, the sleeves are way too long, I have to roll up, but over all comfort is fantastic. I’m going to buy another set, a size smaller though. Normally, thermal underwear, are tight, these are loose, almost like clothing, it must be from the cotton, I totally love that they don’t cling to every inch of my body, adds to my overall comfort. I gave 5 stars and will gladly buy theses again.

Good Product, Great Price (particularly on sale), Do Your Own QC
These are not heavy thermal underwear, but I think they will work great for astronomy on nights in the 40s. The purple is more of a lavender, but it is deep and rich, and I was happily surprised; a photo is attached, but who knows what it will look like on different monitors. Also, they do indeed run large. I am 5'6" and a size 8, which is a solid American medium. The medium for this product is more like a large unless you are about 5 months pregnant and have very long, heavily muscled arms. The small fit me perfectly, though the arms are still a bit wide, which might correct in washing. One caveat: do your own quality control. I actually bought this in both purple and black, and both had manufacturing issues. On the purple, the length of the sleeves was different by nearly an inch and the legs by at least an inch. I returned these, and the next pair were almost perfect. The black set had similar issues except that the pants were fine, but the top had one short shoulder with a long sleeve and one long shoulder with a short sleeve. They didn't balance out; the top just didn't fit right. I hope the next try--in small--will work as well as it did with the purple set.

Comfy and warm
The Red and black pattern is super cute! I'm 118lbs and 5'3". I got size XS. The material is thermal, 60% cotton, 40% polyester. The bottoms fit perfectly but are tight compared to the super, loose top. I'll be able to use it as a sweater. I plan to wear the bottoms under my sweats when I go to hemo-dialysis. I'll update after. I'm currently in dialysis. My legs are still Chilly. I think I should have worn thicker thermals underneath.

Has the sizing changed???
I've been buying and wearing these thermal underwear for a number of years and I always get size small as I do wear them under my clothing when it's cold outside. I loved the way they fit and that they were the old- fashioned waffle thermals! So last spring I bought 2 more pair to save for colder weather. Upon opening the packages recently, I was disappointed to discover that, although the label said size "S", they fit more like a large (even larger than a medium). The shirts were extremely baggy with the shoulder seam way down my arm and the pants were so large and baggy that they didn't even stay up. I can't wear them and clearly the window to return passed months ago. I need new thermals, but I am no longer confident that I will get a properly sized pair should I order these again so will look for another brand.

I'm Tall & Overweight; These Are Soft, Comfy, & Unpredictable (2 NEW UPDATES BELOW!!)
(XL & L UPDATE AT END OF XXL REVIEW) ***(NEWER MED UPDATE BELOW THAT)***I looked at almost all the reviews before I got my first set (at $14) to try to figure out what to get for my shape & size. Before I go on, I'll give you my dimensions, which hopefully will help you...I'm 5'8" & currently 199lbs. I wear roughly a size U.S. 18 in clothes. Waist 38"; Hips 46"; Inseam 32"-34". I'm pear-shaped with big upper arms & big hips/thighs/butt.The S-M-L-XL etc. sizing never works for me online unless there's a size chart (which in this case there's not), because every manufacturer is different with sizing. Some companies are even crazy with numeric U.S. sizing, but at least it's a little more reliable than S-M-L. And reading through the comments taught me that these thermals vary widely with sizing & consistency from person to person.I've lost a bunch of weight this year (I was a size 22-24 at my largest) and I'm still losing, so it's hard to keep track of what size I am. Most of my old size 18 clothes fit me, but so do some 16s and some 20s (depending on the maker), and being pear-shaped, my pants size is often larger than my top size -- except my big arms haven't got the message yet that I'm losing weight, so I tend to get loose-fitting tops. Since I'm still losing, I haven't wanted to spend money on new clothes until I get to my goal. But I really needed new thermals for the winter.Based on reviews (and my previous experience years ago trying on thermals), I decided to order XXL in these. They just arrived today and I immediately tried them on. They are soft & cozy and not too thick, which I liked. They are baggy on me, but the pants don't fall down, so I don't mind baggy. I don't know if they'll shrink in the wash or not. I tend to doubt it, since I wash everything in cold water, but maybe the dryer will help with that. After I tried them on and threw them in the hamper, I decided to order 2 more sets -- one XL and one L -- since the price had dropped to a wonderful $12.74 per set. I have no idea how much of a difference there is between sizes. I'd like to be able to wear them under clothes and as (or under) pajamas in winter and for cold nights camping.I like the feel of them and the lightweight mostly cotton material. They protect me from cold while not overheating me to the point of misery.I hope this review will help someone else in choosing. It seems like a roll of the dice with this company and without a size chart, but the product is worth getting at this particular price & comfort. If they were still $20 as some other people paid, I would not have bought them. For my needs, I didn't want to pay more than $15-$16 for a set. I'm happy I got a great deal with these.---------------- XL & L UPDATE ---------------They arrived today and I couldn't wait to try them on!I literally just returned a different brand-name set that I'd ordered elsewhere (they were awful) when these were delivered an hour later. Great timing! As of today, I'm still the same weight & size as above, for your reference. Both the XL (black) and the L (grey) fit me great; there didn't seem to be that much difference between the two (I double-checked the labels and they were all correct). The ONLY thing was that the wrist cuffs were a little loose, and the XL seemed just a *tiny bit* looser than the L, but that's not a big deal to me.I'm very happy with the fit, the stretchiness, the quality, the packaging - everything is great. After the more expensive, disastrous "other" purchase, I'm even happier. In fact, I'm going to order myself a size Medium right now, since these are such a great price and I'm still losing a pound or two a week. Some others have said they gave their husbands the set that was too large, and that's what I'm going to do.P.S. - After I washed the first set, I noticed a long loose thread at the hem of one ankle. I whipped out my needle & thread and fixed it in 5 minutes. This often happens with new clothes so it didn't bother me, but I thought I'd report it to you so you can be aware of that possibility.************ NEWEST SIZE MEDIUM UPDATE *************Since I'm still losing weight, I got 2 more in size Medium (pink & black) when they went back on sale for $12.74 each. I got them about a week after the XL & L, which I got about a week after the original XXL purchase.Since that original purchase, I've lost 5 more pounds (194), but that isn't much so I figure I'm still about the same in inches that I listed above. The Mediums FIT ME (!!!) snug but not overly tight. The shirts do consistently run smaller than their matching pants, but the material stretches so if you're comfortable with a snug fit, it'll do. Since the coldest part of winter is still ahead, I can use the mediums to wear under clothes when I go out. The L & XL are very similar in size to each other as far as I can tell. I wear those around the house when it's chilly out (30-50 degrees F), either under clothes or under pajamas, and they do just fine as "relaxed fit" and comfortable.I gave the XXL's to my husband (thanks for the idea, fellow reviewers!), who is tall & skinny (6'2", 170 lbs), and he's been wearing them every day. Since I have now bought 5 sets of these this month, I'll probably end up giving him the XL's too, even though they also fit me.These are utility longjohns, not a fashion statement. They won't warm you up all that much if you're in an area that is below freezing for weeks on end, but they're a great help when the temps drop and you need an extra layer. Compared to other places I've seen, they're the best price for the value -- ESPECIALLY when they go on sale! If you see these for less than $14/set, snatch them up!

Surviving the WA Winter
If lockdown and cancelled flights back to the UK, were not enough to contend with 'Her Indoors' was complaining how the British adverts for 'Holidays in Sunny Australia' made no mention of the cool days and bitterly cold winter nights she is putting up with in the Perth Hills. Now thanks to this fine underwear she is as warm as toast on the coldest nights.
