Works great , but I wouldn’t recommend for any tank over 30 gallons, I have to empty mine every 24 hours and it’s completely full, however I’m using in a 55 gallon with a 15 gallon sump, this thing would work as good as skimmers that cost three times as much in a smaller tank. really should be emptying every 12 hours but that isn’t feesible , none of the bigger skimmers will clear the height in my stand. Thinking about buying a second one.

Was extremely excited to use it when I purchased it, but was pretty dissatisfied with its performance. It’s been running for a few days and all it does is create a ton of micro bubbles and doesn’t skim much of anything. I’ve tried adjusting the air dial and height but doesn’t seem to make any difference. Overall it’s a nice looking unit, but I didn’t buy it because it’s pretty.

Have had it running for a week and it is working great, being able to use a hose to drain the skimmer is very easy, and this thing is thick very thick acrylic.

One of the best I used. Some may find it difficult to use but I have work around most issues. Skimming very well since day 1.1. Make sure that it is properly submerged and all tubing sealed tight including pump2. The skimmer can be controlled, just confusing to find. This is done by twisting the body to get desired flow of bubbles.3. Drain pipe is unnecessary but can be removed and thd hole sealed with some hot glue4. For rimmed tanks like mine, I had to cut the flaps that supports the tank lid. Just cut around the width of the skimmer clamp.I highly recommend this product.
