This was my first time trying stroopwafels. They have a nice mix of tastes and textures. The waffle cookies are chocolatey, and they are filled with a thin layer of soft caramel with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Sometimes caramel can be too thick and gooey for my taste, but the caramel in these practically melts in your mouth. The cookies are chewy with just a little crunch.I think they are great for dunking in a hot beverage, but now that I've read that the bigger sized version can be put on top of a drink to warm up, I'm curious to try those too. I like the minis for a small snack or for packing in lunchboxes.At $10.99, the price seems a little high, but it includes a nice quality bag clip. The bag clip does not seem to be related to Daelmans, or this product which comes in a resealable bag. The branding is "By the Cup." It might be worth it, if you'd like to try this unique Dutch treat and don't mind paying a little extra for the clip.

These taste very similar to the ones they sell on the streets in Amsterdam.But the texture is not the same since these are not fresh and hot. These are more soft and chewy.But for the price and convenience is a good option.

It looks like a little wafer cookie, but the texture is chewy and has a nice caramel filling. I dunked mine in my coffee and really enjoyed it although it is meant to be set on top of the cup of hot coffee. The flavor of these was great but I think the price is a bit steep.

This bag of little caramel waffles did not last for long, they tasted so good. They’re a smaller, more manageable size than the big ones which are just too much sometimes. They have just the right amount of filling. I don’t know how I feel about the stretchy cookie but that does seem to be what this cookie is about. I liked the caramel and thought it was a really nice treat. You can’t go too crazy as this is only five ounces. They are sweet enough I can get by with three or four. I’d love to put this in a tea and luxury gift basket. Definitely recommend !!

I've had stroopwaffels before by this brand in a larger size. The large ones sit on my top of my coffee mug and get melty and gooey from the heat below. But you can't do that with these, so they were much harder to eat. They were crisp on the outside, but slightly gooey caramel fills the inside. They do taste fresh and delicious, but I miss having them warm up over a cuppa.

The full-size version of these are made to sit on top of a hot beverage and melt a bit, becoming soft and scrumptious. These mini versions puzzle me. They're too small to sit atop a hot beverage, and they're a bit hard to eat by themselves, so what to do? I ended up dipping the wafer into my hot tea, which was fine; but, I'm not sure why these have been made into a mini size when they're designed to sit atop a mug? Next time, I'll place them above my tea on a screen, or atop some chop sticks, or devise another method to warm them a bit.

These mini chocolate waffles are very rich and make for a special treat with tea, coffee or milk. The texture is what I would expect from Stroopwafels as well. The filling amount was okay, but not quite as much as the package may have illustrated. All the same, it's a nice indulgence to have on hand, especially for a chocolate lover! The bag clip is a nice bonus, but the bag reseals perfectly well.
