These work great to remove makeup mistakes! No little fuzzies...
I'm forever getting mascara and eyeliner in places where I don't want it. These Reusable Cotton Swabs work great for gently rubing those accidental messes away. The one with the rounded ends also works great for smudging eyeliner.I will be keeping a couple in my bathroom, and a couple in my purse makeup bag. That way I can wipe away smudges from under my eyes, as that area gets quite oily, and I end up looking a bit like a raccoon by the end of the day. These work much better than I thought they would. As long as you're gentle with them, they are not hard on the skin around your eyes. The best part is that they leave no little fuzzies behind. These are a great alternative to, or replacement, for cotton swabs, and are so handy to have around. I really like them, and would definitely recommend them!

Not as good as cotton swabs
While the concept of reusing swab tips that can be cleaned, washed, and reused, seems like a great and noble idea..... Unfortunately, they do a really bad job of cleaning your ears and I usually have to use a cotton swab to do the job properly. The silicon based tips even with the little spiked design does a poor job of cleaning the ears. The smooth silicone tips does nothing to clean the ears but swish the wax in my ears. The silicon like tips do not absorb and grab the wax like cotton tips.Bottom line, these cannot replace cotton swabs and it's effectiveness in cleaning the ears.Kudos for giving it the old college try. LOL

Not as good as cotton
I bought this to avoid single use and it doesn’t really work. Cotton swabs grab a lot while cleaning your ears but this silicone material does not and like most similar materials, nothing sticks to it. Waste of money.

Zero waste reusable cotton swabs! NO TAMPER-PROOF SEALS!
Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.WASH THESE THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE! There’s no wrapping, no tamper-proof seals of any kind. You don’t know if someone messed with it! I hate when hygeine items like these aren’t properly sealed, it’s not safe! What the heck.So thhis is a pack of 4 reusable silicone cotton swabs. Pack of 4 with a bunch of different styles. You get a swabs where it’s your generic cotton swab shape on one end and more precision swab on the other. Another swab where it gets even more precision! Then you get 2 other swabs that are a weird bumpy shape on one end and a weird bulgey spiraly shape on the other. These are certainly unique. I assume the very bumpy one is for waxy ears since unlike cotton you can’t have them absorb the super waxy earwax. It does work to an extent. Sorry TMI but It did grab my very waxy ear wax out of there with the bumpy-ness. However with many many passthroughs my ear was still quite dirty. One swipe with an actual cotton swab and it soaked it all up and pulled out most of it. These are definitely not meant for earwax.. I’ve always wanted reusable cotton swabs in order to be better for the environment. These are pretty good but definitely different and not the same as actual cotton swabs. Unfortunately once you use it and it gets gross you cannot just dispose of it, you’ll have to wash and dry it. That’s where disposable cotton swabs reign supreme in that you don’t have to wash and wait for it to dry. More importantly if you’re using it to treat an injury or something and use it to smear medication somewhere you don’t have to wash and clean afterwards. In those cases it’s best to just use disposable for hygiene and safety. A good inbetween would be to get compostable q-tips from a sustainable brand! At the very least if you just need cotton swabs during makeup application I do think these will work great as washing and drying is more than sufficient! I just wish this came in a nice reusable carry case. It only comes in a small cardboard box. Cardboard box is much more environmentally friendly but it makes it REALLY hard to store and stow away in the bathroom or take it with you anywhere.

Great for eye makeup!
I actually got these for my makeup application, since cotton swabs remove too much product and the brushes weren't doing exactly what I needed to do. These work really well for smudging eye liner and also touching up mascara dots on the skin. I did try them for my ears just for science and found them to be almost useless in that department.

Feels Like A Pencil Eraser
This is no way is a replacement for a cotton swab. It is not soft or absorbent like a Qtip This comes is a cardboard box like old style matches and there are four swabs with different head types. Each are too round (fat) to fit into the ear canal. They are not absorbent and they just push water deeper into the ear. They can not even remove make up they just smear what ever make up you have on already. Does not feel like silicone they feel more like rubber. Like the rubber on the end of a pencil. There is not function for these swab other than used them as a glue applicator and throw them away after. Horrible.

For dry ears not sticky waxy (well thats my opinion)
I know someone who has dry dusty ear wax and someone with oily wax. 2 different people. I feel these reusable swabs should be for the dry wax type to get stuff out and simply rinse and store again. They are soft and come with different shape tips to dig out what you need to dig out. They say in general dont use any swabs inside ears so use at your own discretion. I never knew of reusable to this may be for other reasons other than ears, They come in a ncie small box and funky shaped tips. So far so good.

Hard to find a use for this
These are certainly no substitute for a q-tip. I've tried to use them for cleaning my ears and they don't do anything. The silicon part is just too hard. There's little nubs and teeth that maybe would do something but I find they are really not effective at all. A regular cotton q-tip is great at removing ear wax. These things on the other hand do very little. I thought they might help with drying my ears as that's something other reviewers have stated. Not my case. I'm not willing to try the rapid toilet paper approach that someone else suggested because I don't want to losing a chunk of toilet paper in my ear canal. So I've started just using these to apply paint. They sort of work well for that but I'm sure that's not really the best use.
