Requited Unrequited Love: An Enemies to Lovers Marriage of Convenience Romance

amazing
At first it dragged but gave some great eye opener about culture and religion without disrespecting any of em. I loves the twists.

loved it
It basically entwines philosophical and psychological musings in a romance novel. What’s there not to like? I loved Kristina with all my heart, and her resistance to Augustine made for some of the funniest situations. Augustine is actually to die for; the man has enough rizz to charm even the most stubborn of women. I loved the tropes used here: marriage for convenience, one bed, forced proximity, online personas…. And above all, how meaningful it felt, in its discussion of cultural norms of Egypt and of gender in general.
