Positive: Great colours. A total of 4 oz of this quality in water resistant archival ink for £15 is good on any day, even if it is just two or three colours - I regularly see acrylic sets of 6 * 1 oz colours go for twice this price. An economical source of variety, using core mixable colours. The plastic palette is sturdy, high capacity, and useful, though as it is unlikely that one would use so many wells at once (for fear of drying) you might find yourself using it for paint/spare odd jobs rather than these inks. The delivery was prompt given the distance.Negative: People seem to have complained about the gold in past reviews, but gold inks almost always either dry weirdly or go down looking like glitter; a satisfactory gold-effect ink is extremely hard to come by and I have yet to find one - from experience, you're better off with gold leaf if you need gold. That said, this gold isn't bad if you just want something shiny and yellow.Summary: Very satisfied.

Awful - like watered down acrylic paint. Thick and gluey not what I would describe as an ink at all. Had to water down further and dip the nib in water to release the ‘ink’ because it literally coated the nib in a thick paint like consistency. Some pots were only half full and another had leaked in transit.Thought that as the item was from USA would be ok. Sadly not the case - probably would have been better getting a Chinese one for less than half the price.Don’t waste your money like I have.

Excellent collection of inks with very vibrant colours . The silver and gold has a lovely metallic finish and all inks have a smooth consistency and flow well when using dip pens .

I've using these to practice my calligraphy. The inks write well, and the colours are lovely. I'll buy again when they run out.

Really good inks and a very good price as well. And yes, the gold is not that good, but the rest of the selection more than make up for it. Recommended.
