Good stoves at a fair price
These are 2 stainless steel folding stoves, designed to be used with wood but can also be used with other solid fuels or a meths burner. They are probably not the choice for ultra-lightweight campers, as they are both larger and heavier than many of the alternatives, but they are very solidly built, easy to assemble, versatile, easy to feed with twigs or split wood, and will take a variety of sizes of pan, so for vehicle packing (even bicycles), or caches, they offer a good option. There are very similar models from various suppliers on Amazon, some with additional features or bits of kits, and at slightly varying prices, so you might want to shop around a bit but I haven't tried and can't comment on the quality of those others. Some models are available using Amazon Prime for very fast delivery, if you subscribe to that facility. Both stoves come with zippered wallets for storage, and plastic bags to keep things separated if you don’t have time to do full cleaning before repacking. You can see from my photos the difference in size and thickness when packed, and when set up, compared to some of the lighter weight folding alternatives. Both also came with all sides covered in blue plastic, which needs to be removed before you use the stove, and which took me a while because it is obviously applied before the stove is assembled, trapping some edges between sides and joints. Both are very easy to set up. The type 1, which looks more like a miniature BBQ stove and can be used as such as well as per a standard stove, can be used either way up, which gives you 3 different settings as to how near the pan support you have your burning material. Useful especially if you want to use meths or solid fuel blocks rather than wood and to simmer or slow cook rather than for fast heating. Simply fold the 3 sides into place, slip in the ash pan onto the slots at the height you select, put the fuel tray on it and put the pan support on the top. Done! The type 2 is hinged and has an internal fire tray that falls into place when the sides are opened. Then all you have to do is put on the pan support and slide the ash pan in from the side. Note this does go in from the side, don’t be fooled into trying to fit it from the front and thinking it is too wide, as I did before I read the instructions properly! Then open the front flap and you are ready to go. My type 2 came with a telescopic bellows tube for fanning the fire if needed, and it works fine. The stoves are made with good ventilation, so wood fires in both burned well. They are easy to feed and have more capacity than many of the suitable alternative stoves. How fast you achieve a boil or cook your food will depend on the set-up you choose, and to some extent the type of wood you burn, plus the thickness and material of your pan, but are on a par with most folding wood burners.Over all, these are good stoves at a fair price. They won’t be suited to everyone for all activities but they are definitely worthy of consideration by many users who are looking for a compact folding stove.

Brilliant.
Fantastic little stove, easy, and I mean easy to assemble and light. Handful of good sticks will boil a kettle, I think quicker than a gas stove. Great for cooking on, I've done both bbq and pots of stew. Cools quickly and as easy to put away as it is to assemble. Only one tiny gripe is that some of the connecting pins loosen when it gets hot, there is a plate that stops them falling out when using but just keep an eye out when packing away. That said a solid 9.9 out of 10.

Bit disappointed in the quality but hopefully it does the job ok
The media could not be loaded. Hopefully its ok when I go to use it, unfortunately the one I received has a few flaws like the door bit being incredibly tight on one side, the grill has been welded at an angle leaving the mesh a bit lop sided, and the latch is so loose it’s pretty much useless and is floppy, luckily the door is so tight on one side it stays in place so I don’t need the latch which is useless anyways lol. Mine didn’t have any blue plastic on and it had been wiped/smeared, apart from little bits of blue plastic here and there. It’s got a few minor scrapes and dents and no blue plastic almost like it’s one that’s been sent back Maybe? Build quality isn’t great. Beware of sharp edges too as I just found out having just cut my finger on an unfinished part/edge!. Bit disappointed in mine compared to a friends who also has one of these exactly the same and his is fine which is why I got one. Will update when I’ve used it.

Single best thing I have bought on Amazon
The single best thing I have bought on Amazon. Smaller then you think but gives a pretty good size fire from the smallest amount of wood somehow, it’s awesome, build up a decent fire in it and just let it burn down then tiny grill on and cook 4 sausages or small racks of ribs, would definitely recommend to anyone!! There is a blue film on it when it arrives but I just peeled off most of it then got a fire going in it which burnt off the rest and it was fine :) after typing this I might actually order another one

Set-up time: less than 30 sec. How convenient it is in the woods! Lies.
It comes with the protective blue wrap that all industry steel press sheets have... Instead of removing it, they leave it on, do not finish the edges, leaving you with a good hour+ of trying to get it all off, cutting your fingers, knuckles open and then still left with bit's in impossible places... and... blood all over it! So, you are then left with having to burn it off during the initial process, so, if you are looking to cook certain foods, you will be taking a risk - if you are that hungry! Finally, the ash plate is the incorrect size, about 3mm too large so does not fit.Not happy with it and my hands are a state!Update, Day 2 of trying to remove the blue wrap, just don't bother... If you do, wear a few layers of latex gloves as the metal edges are dangerous!!!

Mostly good, getting better
It is just what I was looking for and seems well built - not tried lighting it up yet. However, the ash tray is about 4mm too wide for it’s slot so I will have to file the sides of the opening to get it to work. No big deal but still... annoying. Also, the carry bag smells of moth balls and the blue film does take ages to get off. But can be weirdly satisfying. Pointless too as the super shiny stainless steel will be blackened and blued as soon as it’s used. Will updated after a fryup 🍳UPDATE #1 - the ash plate slots in SIDEWAYS so everything fits in fine

Excellent
Very efficient burner and has quickly become an essential for my pack. A bit tricky to light at first but you'll find a way. Once you do, it's a great quick way to get a cup of tea on the go much quicker than lighting an actual fire with a fraction of the fuel required. Very easy to clean up and "leave no trace" which is important to me and should be important to you too😘
