when it turned up on the picture it shows a hard base platform but when opened box it was a soft base one think you need to change picture so people know what your actually buying

Bought as a family gift for children to play. We haven't yet explored all games but they have had some fun playing a select few.They have fun modes and exercise modes, competitive modes and also solo players.Set up was reasonably easy. We had some daft moments where the mat was the 'remote' and also the handset, which complicated things until we realised. We also didn't receive any instructions, which was disappointing, however, it was easy enough to Google and find out. We also watched some YouTube videos to explain to the children what to do.The mat is a very decent size. Plenty if space for 2 children or 2 adults. It's wireless so no cable going across the room. The little disco light that attaches to the camera was a nice touch. Camera quality is good enough onscreen to follow with no issues.We are very happy with our purchase.

The instructions are poor.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an excellent dance mat! The song bank is pretty good, with varying degrees of difficulty (1 to 3 stars) and two modes (of which one has kids' songs, so younger children can join in). There are also modes for dancing solo vs in a pair (the latter is great for home competitions) and we have only tried the easier 4 steps mode, but there are two harder options.Setting it up is straightforward, although the instructions were not very clear. Just remember to:1) turn on the disco dish and make sure the light is positioned correctly (it needs to switch on)2) plug the disco light/dish into a TV HDMI ports3) most importantly, turn on the mat (the switch is very small and can be easily missed)4) move the TV setting to the correct HDMI channel.We have not found an off button for the remote yet, so we take off the batteries when not in use. And remember, step off the mat when you are selecting the modes with the remote, otherwise your feet will do all the picking.

This mat was a great hit for the kids. They absolutely love it and it’s been great fun for the kids and us adults to join in too! We’ve spent hours on it over the Christmas holidays and the kids friend’s love playing on it when they come round. Great buy!

Perfect present for bouncy 8 year old dancer. Solid and easy to use. Interaction through your TV screen makes it not only a dance mat but ideal for all the family to enjoy running, tennis etc.

Bought this as a present for my daughter and granddaughter, they absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend.
