DeWalt DCS355D2 XR Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool 18 Volt 2 x 2.0Ah Li-Ion

Not quite as light weight as the mains driven version, this tool is just as versatile. Powerful, controllable and with a good balance. The battery sometimes gets in the way compared to the mains version but it is a minor niggle when compared to the freedom this tool gives you.The kit has everything you will need to get started, and then some. If you need something different you can easily add to the tool collection with many vendors such as Saxton selling quick fit alternatives to the DeWalt attachments if you need them.In their initial charge state the batteries run down at about the same rate as they can be charged. So keep your charger handy. I expect them to keep gaining capacity during the first half-dozen full charge-discharge cycles, so this shouldn't be an issue after a while.

I wanted to remove some grout and cut skirting boards etc, a mate told me about this tool, took the plunge and purchased the chord free one. I already own a dewalt cordless drill, that is superb. Using the grout tool it took me 30 minutes, sanded down part of a wall, stairs and cut some wood. A superb tool which can do a wide range of things. Will be sanding down my wooden kitchen island with it shortly, will post how I get onMy work colleagues have advised me to buy additional parts which I will be doing soon

Wow, what an awesome bit of kit!Bought to assist with a room-conversion job, it was the start of my high-quality tools collection. I've since added a cordless drill/driver and an impact driver, both from the XR range, so the batteries are interchangeable. And just the other day I saw that the XR torch was on special, so I grabbed that too :).The tool itself... absolutely essential for those fiddly, awkward jobs, like trimming ceiling cornices. It's not exactly lightweight, but is nicely balanced, and the heft helps prevent it skittering out of control too easily. Depending on what you're working on, a steady hand is still needed. I recommend having a few practice runs on scrap pieces before attacking "live" work.

Brilliant bit of kit . My hubby loves it and he has found it useful for loads of jobs inside and outside the home . Really powerful and great for getting in those awkward places . Comes with many accessories and a strong carring box . If you are thinking of buying one of these for a few pounds get the one with 2 batteries .!!!! Great purchase , great seller , fast delivery . Well pleased. :-)

Great tool but one battery failed early. forgot to return it within 12 months.

This Dewalt set has been on my Amazon Wishlist since about 2014 when a contractor helped me install doors in the house. There were 12 to replace, too many for me to fit all onlmy own. As I had already a number of these tools individually, but on mains power, had been able to put off buying this set until 2020.What finally pushed me into this purchase is due to the fact that I bought 3 individual 18v after-market non-DeWalt clip on batteries for my old set of DeWalt tools of 1999 vintage. None of these 3 batteries were any good and had to return. Fed up, so bouoght a DeWalt battery adaptor to convert a slide-on battery for use by a clip-on battery model of (older) DeWalt tool. Instead of buy slide-on DeWalt batteries individually, bought this set of MultiTool which includes 2 batteries. Now have best of all DeWalt.The attachments of this tool not only allows you to trim off wood while still in situ, this kit also includes a bonus tool to do detail sanding. Emphasis is on detail sanding; for more serious sanding still need to use belt sander or random orbital sander.

I received this tool without batteries. It was supposed to be with 2 batteries!!

I'd originally bought it thinking it looked great but I'd only use it occasionally. It saved me a huge amount of time and effort though and there are some jobs that would've been a nightmare without it. I ended up buying two more as presents for people who tried it and were impressed.

El aparato funciona correctamente, pero varias de las piezas que aparecen en la imagen faltan en la caja.
