TC Electronic UNITUNE CLIP Clip-On Tuner with Strobe and Chromatic Modes and 108 LED Matrix Display for Uncompromised Tuning Quality

Before purchasing this product, i used many cheap clip-on tuners from various no-name brands. They did the job done with some compromises (sometimes really slow tracking, trouble with low tunings, dim screens), but this is next level. Never imagined a clip-on tuner can this precise and easy to use in the same time. Tested with various tunings on my guitar (standard E, drop D, standard D, drop C, and drop A), setting up intonation, works flawlessly in every situation, fast and responsive, the screen is bright and easy to read, the strobe function is a nice addition. I'ts more expensive than the noname tuners, but well worth the extra. I didn't needed the polytune function, if you're looking for a reliable tuner, look no further! (so far no battery drain issues as some users stated, will update my review if that changes...)

Initially when I was looking for a new clip on tuner, I liked the look of the Polytune (strobe tuning, and quicker regular needle modes), but almost all of the reviews said the polyphonic functionality was a bit of a gimmick. I then found the unitune which has all the functionality apart from that, and for cheaper.This tuner is fast, accurate, easy to use, and cheaper than the polytune. What's not to like??

Brilliant. Exceedingly accurate, well lit screen and quick to attach / take off.This is the budget model that doesn’t do a full six string check on one screen. To be honest, I have that as an iPhone app and never use it anyway, and people I know with the more expensive model don’t tend to use it either, making this a bargain.

Tuned the acoustic guitar in record time and I had never done it before. Brilliant piece of kit!

I usually tune by ear, or if I am in a noisy environment I used a old tuner I had for the last 21 years, and owned a few more that were cheaper and either proved inaccurate or died. This one is far more visible in dark spaces, accuracy is fantastic, likelt as close you can get using a clip on tuner. It picks up notes from lower freqeuncies well, I personally use 8 string guitars and it works perfectly unlike some other tuners I owned.

What made me really impress was that I was able to tune perfectly whilst a lot of other noise and notes are playing around me. Its small and not a total eye sore when you accidentally leave it on your guitar.
