Q: Just bpught this and instructions are not clear how to instal it.. does the little black pump box have to be inside top bucket or outside ?

the pump drops through the side opening and after attaching the tube it drops to the bottom of the reservoir. dad had this for his 80th birthday and is over the moon with it

Q: Could you put a few Gold fish in the bottom??

Don't think this would be a good idea as the water circulates. Besides the birds like to drink especially doves and pigeons, also cats and dogs. Also not much room for fish to swim.

Q: Can anyone advise me what to do in the winter months with this solar water feature.

I put mine back in the garden shed then bring it back out in the Spring when the weather starts to get warmer, as worried if in the winter when the weather starts to freeze weather there would be any damage done to it and it’s too nice to ruin!

1 is fixed and the second can be removed
