At my age, I am always looking for that "miracle" product that tightens my skin or at least temporarily gives it a tightened look. I was excited to try this product for its claims of instant tightness. I received 0.50 ounce and it comes in an pump. I couldn't find directions on when to apply it (before/after serums and/or moisturizers). It says to apply on cleansed skin prior to makeup application and my assumption was that it was applied prior to the application of other skin care products. I tried it both ways. Applying to my clean dry skin (after cleansing), my face did feel somewhat taut however after applying other serums and moisturizer I felt it lost that taut feeling. And when I tried it after applying my serums & moisturizer I didn't feel that same tautness I felt using it alone. However, I will try it without using any other skin care products and just apply my make-up to see how that application performs. The serum was light & fragrance free. I have very sensitive skin & after a patch test on my inner elbow area without any adverse reactions, I tried it on my face & experienced no redness, swelling or breakouts. My make-up played well with this products both ways I tried it. It did make my skin feel nice regardless of the order in which I used my other skincare and make-up products. I rated it 4 stars because I didn't see any "instant" tightening results but I plan on continuing to use it to see if it helps the overall texture of my face.

Very disappointed with this product!

Not sure about "tightening" but this serum left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, almost like a makeup primer effect. Soaks in quickly, and regular moisturizer can be used over or under, with a bit of a wait in between, and still get the effect. Not too expensive, which is a big plus, and didn't make my sometimes sensitive skin react. Not a must-have, but did like the way it made my skin feel, and would definitely use again.

I have been using serums daily now for probably the last 15 years. I was anxious to try a new one and when I saw this Dermacia serum I wanted to try it. It goes on light and absorbs quickly into the skin. My skin feels soft and smooth and has no sticky after effect. After using it for about two weeks now, I am happy with it. Not sure about the claim of 'instant tightening' which is why deducted a star. I do think it might be a little over priced as well.

I've sampled and liked several Dermacia Pro products in the past. But this one isn't my cup of tea. Its a gel like serum and it soaks in quickly. My face doesn't look oily or shiny with this on which is a plus. It's also moisturizing...some serums make my skin feel so dry. The reason I'm not in love with this is because there's no tightening. I don't expect to see it with longterm use, either. It's a pretty expensive serum to not give the benefits it promised (this is a half ounce pump, so and ounce which is what most serums are would be over $50).
