Never Marry Your Brother's Best Friend (Never Say Never Book 1)

Great story
I enjoyed this, a different storyline to any I’ve read before, and that’s always a plus point. Carter was a great lead character but Luna steals the show, she’s incredibly imperfect, which makes her perfect. The BFF’s, for both main characters, were fabulous, and the villain is very villainous. Not a huge fan of Charles Harrington though, not a wonderful father to say the least.Great characters and writing.

Artfully loving!
When Carter Harrington wants to obtain a new client for his portfolio at the family firm, he needs a crash course in art. Carter's best friend Zach, suggests his sister Luna Start to help Carter learn. When Carter struggles to remember what Luna has attempted to teach him, he drags her along to the meeting introducing her as his wife! When his father calls out the lie, Carter decides to marry Luna for real. Will this fake and fast marriage seal the deal in more ways than one? Will the spanners that keep being thrown, help or hinder? I loved this read for the characters, their chemistry and the added hilarity of children, unruly dogs and a shy, geeky heroine who seems to resemble all of us

Romantic
Tbh I only bought this book as a reviewer said there was too much sex!. I wasn't disappointed there was loads! This is such a brilliant story of family and its meaning and love and its meaning. There's also a lovely retribution in it too.I'd give it more stars if I could.

Odd but hilarious
A good story, funny, sad, and all points in between. Luna is a delight, Carter is lovely, though for a man in his 30s I found him a tad immature. The art talk was fascinating, and created a desire to visit the National Gallery again. The only thing I found a turn-off where their sex scenes. Not my taste at all and so skim-read them.Recommended as a reasonable read.

An enjoyable read - perfect for a holiday
Bought this for a week away and it was the perfect holiday read. Easy to pick up, moved at decent pace and whilst predicable in the outcome (not a criticism - normal for the genre), the journey was enjoyable and the characters likeable.

🥹✨This book had me like..😳🥰🙊😡🥵😍✨
I absolutely loved it! Had it on my tbr for ages and i am so glad I decided to give it a go!I am a sucker for a fake marriage plus a brother’s best friend?!!! Right?Luna is a sweet shy girl who you could class as nerdy and not very confident in some aspects of life. She is an artsy girl.Carter is cocky, arrogant, and knows what he wants and when he wants it? He gets it. He is a maths guy. Both are a ying and the yang. I tell you know. But Carter needs Luna’s help, he knows nothing about art and paintings, but Carter wants this portfolio he wants to win Elena Cartwright case and manage her finances and estate. Cue Luna, Elena has a massive collection and love for art and he needs her help. They end up finding themselves tangled in a web of lies. Were truth and lies get blurred. I don’t want to say anymore so i don’t spoil it. But this book was ✨AMAZING✨Good plot? CheckSpicy? CheckGives you all the feels? CheckDouble POV? CheckHEA? Check⚡️CHECK IT OUT NOW⚡️

Outstanding
What a brilliant read Carter and Laura made a deal to get Carter a job that he needed and it ended up with them in a fake marriage! Until Carter realised his feelings were anything but fake. Compelling reading from the start

Delightful
So many common tropes, enemies to lovers, brother's best friend, family business, fake relationships, this story could have felt tired and unoriginal. Instead it was fresh and fun. Full of humour and heartfelt emotions. It's a lovely, easy read-in-one-sitting story.Oh, and definitely check out the bonus epilogue. It's adorable and answers the one big question I was left with at the end of the book.

She knows her stuff
She's an introvert with a passion for art. He's a businessman with a knack for sales and charm. She's the little sister, he's the best friend...They act like opposites without truly knowing each other. But one chance at a big deal, and their circumstances change it all.I really loved this story. Opposites attract, learning from their mistakes, finding love right under your nose and a spunky older women whose wise beyond them.I'm looking forward to the next books. I'm absolutely surprised it'll be Chance and Samantha (as I was thinking Zack... But maybe Zack and Kayla...) I hope each Harrington gets their hea. I'm really interested to see Kayla, Zack, Kyle and Cameron with the snippets of them from this book. And Cole is most mysterious, like Chance.

Luna and Carter
This book was full of humor and did a great job introducing a lot of new characters in a way that gave a lot of information without taking away from Luna and Carter. I loved the plot and all the side characters. I loved Luna from the beginning and Carter grew on me pretty quickly. Lauren Landish has a way of creating characters that everyone could connect with and Luna and Carter were no different.I always love books featuring shy heroines who find their strength as the book goes on. And that is exactly what Luna does. Luna is pressured into “marrying” Carter. Her brother’s best friend and her opposite in every way. But what starts as a business deal quickly morphs into a very real relationship. It’s complicated and fragile, but as their relationship grows stronger, neither Carter or Luna know how to communicate the change very well.I loved that Carter had to win Luna over. This cocky, rich, kinda arrogant man had to convince the woman he fell in love with that he really was in love with her. And he did that. He saw Luna in a way not many people did. She was shy, but also had a fierceness that came out when she felt comfortable enough to be herself. I loved that Carter never tried to change her and was so in tune with her, even when they were still faking their marriage. And Luna was just as supportive and protective of Carter. This book had so many funny moments, but there were also moments of seriousness and romance that made the story flow well. Since this was the first book in the series, it was an introduction to this new family and I can’t wait to see where the series leads the Harringtons in the future.
