My hunt for a new comb began after I dropped mine on the tile floor, causing several of the plastic teeth to go flying. I decided to search for a little more indestructible comb for the next time around and happened to see this five piece set of Fagaci combs. The feel of the combs is really lightweight while still feeling substantial – there’s a tiny bit of give to them, but solid and very little bend as they tackle wet hair. I’ve tried several comb sizes in the set so far and without fail, the teeth are really gentle against the scalp; no rough tooth edges to scratch or dig in. There’s a size option for every member of the family here, from adult to small child. I actually used the smallest of the set to fine-comb my wispies on top and around the temple area. I spritzed the tiny teeth of the comb with a bit of hair spray and then smoothed the fine hair. Because the teeth were so tiny, it allowed for a less separated look to the bangs area. The ends of each comb are well made and allow for a precision part or sectioning.I can’t say whether or not the comb set has less of a static effect because here where I live, there’s rarely such a thing as a low humidity day to test the claim. I’m well pleased with this choice of combs though and can recommend.

The combs are good quality. However I do not think these combs are anti-static.

I have a small issue with psoriasis flakes on my head, so when I use combs sometimes they get grimy and full of it and they're hard to clean thoroughly, so I usually get cheap combs as I go through them quite often. But when I saw these were barber shop quality I thought it would be worth trying. And I wasn't disappointed.I love that there are different sizes and spacing for the teeth, since even though my hair is on the thinner side I can slide through it better and not get it as built-up as combs with close teeth. It makes them a lot easier to clean and I feel like I can still get the style I want.They are built very well and pretty durable, so I don't have to worry about my hair causing the teeth to bend, break or weaken and I also don't have to worry about them breaking in a bad or when using them roughly.I think this is a great set, especially if you have kids with different hair styles and thickness, since you can use a different one for each kid and yourself and not have to worry about doing things differently to get it to do what you want.
