Long Awaited
I heard Big Al give a verbal presentation of this material several years ago. So glad to see he's compiled it all into a book. People do indeed make up their mind as to whether to do business with you in the first 30 seconds.... if you have that long. The techniques Big Al teaches are so simple, yet they work. As he says in the book, it's almost embarrassing that we think as simply as we do... but it's just the way we are. A quick read, a short book, but tons of valuable info. Great for any kind of sales. You can either approach a prospect as a trusted friend, or scream "SALESMAN" and have them running for the back door! Listen to Big Al and gain their trust almost instantly.

It's the simplicity of it that gets the big results!

Good advice if used right
This is an easy read and gives good advice on what to say and not to say. Every salesperson should be required to read it. They'd know that saying "you're obviously an intelligent person" to someone they've never met will not make the sale. This is all pretty simple accessible stuff, that if used correctly could help build rapport.

Best value for the money spent.
The price paid for this book is few coins only and the value I got was out of this world. It breaks down and teaches what to exactly say and when to say.I have learnt so much from this books.Amazingly structured and simple to understand.

This is best recruiting tool I have ever read, It is like a Big Al workshop on Kindle!!
This book will not just give you a lot of ah ha moments. It is a constant Ah ha teaching experience! If you are doing Multi Level Marketing you are not doing it right unless you have read this book or your sponsor has. It will give you a way to talk to your prospects in the way they want to be talked to. You can also use what you read in this book outside of your home business. Who knows you might even accidentally recruit your boss or aunt June who never liked you before. I read it and re-read it and gets better each time. I tell all my down lines it is required reading!!I am arealniceguy and I rate this book 5 stars. I'd do a 10 if they had more. Big Al is the best trainer and Aurthur on the planet.

Building Instant Agreement and Rapport To Make Your Sales Presentation Start Off On The Right Foot. This Book Delivers.
This book is an excellent companion book to the author's Ice Breakers! How To Get Any Prospect To Beg You For A Presentation . This book gives you several useful ways to establish a quick rapport with sales prospects. I can see how these methods would work equally well if you are in MLM or if you are in sales...recruiting or selling.Essentially, you are getting several quick "sentence starters" that will help you build agreement with your prospect, that you can build on in your main presentation. Certainly worth reading, even for experienced salespeople.And the author is a gifted writer. Every book of his I've read (I think I've read them all) are written in a breezy conversational style that makes it enjoyable. Never preachy. And the author gives you plenty of examples where you can use these methods in different kinds of selling.I certainly recommend the book, if you are in any kind of sales.

He gets straight to the point. It is easy to read and understand. It will make you understand the principles of rapport.

1 star reviews are too harsh... but 5 is reaching...
I wouldn't call this book revolutionary by any means, but there are some useful tidbits buried here that the intelligent reader can dust off and put to use.One of the one star reviews claimed very simplistic content and lots of space filling examples. True on both counts. In all fairness the focus of this book is on establishing perceived credibility 10 seconds into a fresh sales interaction so - most folks would expect it to be simple to a certain degree. As far as pages and pages of filler content - guilty as charged.I think that we as readers need to understand that the concepts presented CAN work if you tailor them to your style and use them subtly. A good salesman can do this intuitively.As one reviewer pointed out (although he obviously missed the point) you won't find clinical psychology references here. The author references the concept of social proof without ever even calling it that thereby suggesting that he may not even know the term for it. But be it by experience, intuition or divine inspiration he DOES know it exists...Bottom line - I spent less than $4 on the Kindle edition. I felt that I got my money's worth. Had I tripled that and waited anxiously for my book to arrive I would probably have been a bit salty.
