Organic Cacao Paste by Ancestral Organics | No Palm Oil, No Added Sugar, No Dairy, Vegan, Naturally Sweetened with Yacon (7 oz)

This is the best spread I have ever tried, just two ingredients, no sugar added, it is sweeten with yacon, a low glycemic natural sweetener with a great deal of benefits for diabetics. It is my choice for breakfast, great taste, 100% reconended!!

I didn't like anything about it, because I was unable to try it. I bought this for my son, because he has a plethora of food allergies and I like for him to feel like he gets to eat somewhat like all of his friends. I typically get BHU organic chocolate hazelnut spread, but they were temporarily out of stock, and I loved how this had so little ingredients. BUT! Please see the photos. I ordered this, and it came with an outside seal that was taped and secure. Then when I opened it, this is what I found inside. So..... I thought I would give them a second chance since no one else seems to have had this problem. It came today with the outside seal in place, (by the way, when I say outside seal, I mean a ornate 1/2" strip of gold tape that is draped across the top and onto each side of the product), and to my dismay, once again the seal was not attached to the product. Instead, this time it was attached to the top-inside of the lid. Please proceed with caution when ordering this.

Don't think that this will spread like peanut butter; very, very thick. I had to put in the microwave to soften it up a bit in order to spread. It is very tasty just like the date syrup, but no where near as pourable and creamy. I haven't tried it in any recipes; just for dipping.

This dark chocolate spread was creamy and delicious. The spread was a little thick, but I think that's because it's only two ingredients, and didn't deter me from enjoying it whatsoever. :) I used the spread on waffles, a piece of toast . . . just as someone could use the other popular chocolate spread - but it's vegan, organic, and fair trade. We vote with our dollar in this society, and it feels good to know when we can support businesses who care for the environment and for the people who work for them. I feel that this price is more than fair for the quality of the ingredients, and the amount that's in the jar. I will definitely buy again! Try it out!

I ordered this product specifically because I was looking for something sweet and healthy to enjoy with my afternoon coffee. The spread has now become my go-to companion for my coffee. Whenever I have a craving for something sweet during the day, I simply grab a spoon and indulge without feeling guilty, as the only two ingredients in it, cocoa and yacon, are both natural products.Ancestral Organics Chocolate Yacon Spread offers a healthier alternative to traditional spreads, with lower calories, higher fiber, and prebiotic sweetener.

It's an okay flavor, but too compact to reorder.

I have my container sitting on my kitchen. After a couple of times, I can't with the flavor. It gives weird sugar spikes and I have no diabetes. There's no other way to describe it. Sorry, this will end up in the trash.

Delicious spread! Great as a guilt free treat for chocolate lovers. I like to spread it on toast or crackers. Will be buying again & recommend if you’re on the fence about trying.
