I have this hub configured for connecting my M2 MacBook Air to my KVM switch. I use iut when working from home. I am using Display Port & USB to connect to the KVM switch (Keyboard, Video & Mouse).I was using the built-in 1Gb network interface, but I've upgraded to 2.5Gb network, I just added a USB-C to 2.5Gb network adapter. Both ways work flawlessly.I have connected via the HDMI port and that works fine, too. I haven't got 2 external monitors on my desk, so I can't test having both video ports running at the same time.I have used this to connect a couple of windows laptops into my desktop setup. The display port does not work with them. I suspect it's because the MacBook has thunderbolt ports and the Windows machines only have USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Newer Windows machines with USB4 ports may work better ...The fly in the ointment is using a charger to provide power via this hub, so I have just a single connection to my MacBook. It has taken me ages to discover that if I plug the USB Charger cable directly to the MacBook everything works as expected. If I connect a USB charger to the PD port, the display cuts out periodically. It only lasts a couple of seconds, but it was sometimes cutting out as often as every 10 seconds. It may be that brand of charger I'm using - it does cut out briefly when I plug new devices in to charge. I have an alternative charger on order - if it makes an improvement to the situation I'll update this review.

I got this for its display port output. However even at 1080p I was not able to get 10bit HDR output. Normally I run at 165hz 1080 10bit HDR. however, when I switched to this hub via display port, my setting max out at 8bit even thought it was connected via USB 4 40gbps port. I tried reducing frame rate down to 60hz, still max out at 8bit.At 8bit RGB, image and color look faded, and blacks appeared gray.My advice is check if your current display is running 10bit RGB and if you need 10bit RGB on display port, look elsewhere.Everything else works as expected, hence 3stars.

Habe mir dieses Hub lediglich für die 3 10Gbps USB Ports gekauft. Funktioniert alles einwandfrei und die Geschwindigkeit der Ports wird ebenfalls erreicht.

its a ok hub,i tried to use it for use it for steam deck, iPad pro 2018 and iPad pro 2021i encountered the following problems,display port is particular useless, it doesn’t even work, maby its a laptop only thing,on the iPad pro 2018,charging, some how it keeps changing voltages ? My ipad keep truning on and off, have not tried other stuff becuase im afraid it breaks the ipad pro 2018,On the Ipad pro 2021,When i connect a hdmi cable it flashes the monitor and then turn it off, if it works it works ,charging ? It says it charge but ipad drained pretty fast,on steam deck,displayport doesn't work,The SABRENT M.2 SSD Enclosure, USB C 3.2 Gen 2 to NVMe SSD with a kingston nvme in it keeps randomly disconnecting in a file transfer, i tried both usb-c and usb-a ports,i am using the hub with an Anker Nano II 65W GaN II charger so it should have power enough , i am using anker cables to be sure it do work,cables i use,from charger to hub, anker 100w cable from powerbank 737from hub to ipad anker usb-c to usb-c 90cm 3.1 cable and its own cable that comes with the hub,And i tried the same charge and cables on the jsaux steam deck dock hub and it all works fine , no dcing, no flashing of monitor, charge fine, although for ipads i have to use a extension cable ,I had high hopes for this hub vs price , but sorry anker , i returned it as it don’t work stable for me

I bought it to mirror display from my laptop to 2 monitors. I do not use external power connection. The power comes through to my laptop via laptop charger as usual and it transfers from laptop to hub with usb-C cable. I didn't have any issue so far, it works without problem. I bought it with half price discount during christmas so I am very pleased. Only thing I am not complete happy is that unfortunately it has only 2 usb-A slots. However, this is something I know before I buy it so it is still 5* product for me.
