This is a great water bowl for most dogs, whether small, medium or large in size. It holds a lot of water and the float mechanism does work well to prevent spill. However, after a few weeks, my Pekingese has refused point blank to use it, though he did find it relatively easy initially and seemed to get a whole lot less water down his "beard" and on the floor. It may be that once the level of water reduces, his very flat face doesn't fit into the bowl to allow him to drink - a common issue with all flat-faced breeds. My own Peke prefers a flatter style of water dish [like a plant saucer or similar] or one of the angled dishes . It must be said that my own Pekingese is extremely fussy and can be fickle too. Therefore, it your dog is of a pointy faced breed, I do think that this bowl is likely to be excellent for him/her.

I ordered a 70oz one for my pup when he is in his crate in the back of the pickup. He uses it easily and the design prevents water from coming out on his blanket in the crate. Just ordered the biggest one for the house.

This is a great bowl for avoiding flooding the floor every time my dog wants a drink - I like that there's a little rim to keep the floating part from slipping out. It has a decent capacity, as well, so you're not constantly refilling it, and it's easy to take apart and clean, with one exception.My issue is the floating part itself. It's made from 2 pieces of plastic (one coloured, one white) which clip together securely. The join, however, is not watertight, and water seeps into the airspace formed inside the floating disc. I didn't notice this at first, I was just washing the bowl, rinsing the filter etc, but I heard water sloshing around inside there and couldn't get it out just by shaking/draining (although a little did come out) so decided to disassemble it for cleaning.Those two parts do NOT come apart easily! I have to use a table knife, sliding it all around the outside, gently levering the two pieces apart. The water inside had been in there for a little while at this point and was not nice. I bought mine in Jun '22 and it didn't come with any way of opening the plate, but I see from the listing there is now a tool included. Hopefully this now solves the problem and my review is now outdated!My issue was easily solved by only using the top (coloured) part. It still floats (although it maybe sits a little lower), and I didn't use the filter anyway, so this solution works well for us. If it weren't for that issue, it would be a 5* product for me!

Was genuinely surprised and very pleased that this worked so well. Our golden retriever used to leave a trail of water on the kitchen floor after drinking and more than once we've slipped on the wooden floor. I used to have to keep an old dishcloth hanging on the wall next to his water bowl in the kitchen and try and wipe his chin before he moved away. But now there is no mess at all. It really is quite amazing and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who has a dog that drips water as much as ours did. I was also quite surprised that he took to using it as well as he did, the first time I put a treat on the side of the bowl and after that he just went to drink from it without any fuss.

Excellent quality. This has helped us with our pup who used to drink water as if he's never seen it before then ended up throwing up! That's stopped now. He's taken to it very quickly and we can trust this in the car while travelling, no spills or drips, and me being a clumsy I've even kicked this when walking past and its not spilled a drop!

Dog used straight away, no issues. Cuts down dripping by at least 85-90% for my dog. Happy with purchase and can recommend 👍🏻

Good quality, easy to clean and has a large capacity. It took one of my dogs some time to get used to it, but now it's no problem. They still carry a small amount of water dribble across the floor when they drink from it, but it's much improved on a standard water bowl.

Mi cachorro no ha dejado de meter las patas , mojarse y tirar agua… es muy bonito, pero no soluciono mi problema con agua en el piso.

Dieser Napf hat unser Leben vereinfacht! Unser Hund hat ihn sofort akzeptiert, und das Anti-Spill-Design verhindert endlich das ständige Wasserchaos auf dem Boden. Die Bedienung war selbsterklärend, sogar für unseren Hund. Besonders lobenswert ist die einfache Reinigung – abspülen, fertig! Der Napf ist robust und gut durchdacht. Ein kleiner Tipp: Bei sehr großen Hunden könnte der Napf eventuell etwas klein sein. Insgesamt aber top Qualität und klare Empfehlung!

Très contente de mon achat. Ce n'est pas parfait non plus, parce qu'il y a encore un peu des gouttes quand mon chien a bu, mais rien à voir avec une gamelle classique!!!
