Fun creative
My son builds sheet forts, he enjoyed working with this. The rods are a bit flimsy if you attach too many together, requires a lot of cross joint supports. My son wants more parts to expand and strengthen his fort.

My 9 yr old built it by herself!! And loves it
When the box arrived I opened it for my daughter and it was so easy and self-explanatory. I was surprised at how quickly she was able to put it together, and did it all by herself! I love the lights it came with, they were surprisingly bright! It had a lot of parts, there were a lot leftover that were unused, and she was still able to build a pretty big fort. It was something like 4 ft by 6 ft when it was done.It held up pretty well even with the sheets and blankets all around it, and right in our walkway lol.Overall I am very impressed and I think it’s 100% a great kit for all ages. The box it comes in is good too because when you break it down which is also quick and easy, everything fits easily back inside.

Versatile and challenging
For my 10 year old and 8 year old kids, this kit provided a lot more than a fun place to read books. Both my kids are very creative in their thought process, and this kit challenged them both to work together to create as big a structure as possible. The pieces are easy to assemble; finding something large enough to cover it was a struggle. The only negative I can see so far are the orange connector pieces, and the negative really lies in my kids losing things. Instead of keeping the orange pieces connected, or put back in the box, they get left to roll under the piano, behind bookshelves, etc... Is there a way to purchase just the orange connectors by themselves ?

Kinda flimsy
Doesn't support much weight unless you make very structurally sounds shapes like the dome. It also falls apart pretty easily if you try to move it while it's set up. With that being said, my son loves it when I make him fits with it

It's almost a 5 star product except for...
the flashlights. Every part of this is exactly what I was looking for. Allows my kids to build tents/forts that are fairly sturdy and won't fall apart the moment someone touches it or tops it with a blanket. In that respect, it's awesome and my kiddos absolutely love it. But the flashlights - great idea in theory but who on earth approved the execution? They have a warning label on them stating not to shine in eyes or the LED could damage them, they run on the tiniest of button batteries, and to make it worse the only way to turn them on/off is to screw and unscrew the top. If you unscrew too far to turn off, the batteries will fall out. Y'all this is marketed for kids and its a disaster waiting to happen. Wish we would have saved the extra money for the lights and just stuck with the building set.
