Dylon Machine DYE POD 12 Intense Black, pack of 3

I use these on my IKEA sofa cushion covers and throw in a few of my partner's black t-shirts that are fading a little. I love that the dye only works on natural fibres cotton etc, so on the t-shirts, any vinyl printing they have on the front stays exactly as it is, even if it's white! It's amazing stuff. Follow the instructions exactly (so easy - machine wash on 40C with the pod in the machine (I do a full-length wash for the dye) followed by another machine wash on 40 as normal with detergent (I do a quick wash for this one) and you're golden! I bought these and a set of cushion inserts as my seats were dipping and I feel like I have a brand new couch. Well worth the money :-) :-)

Nice quality dye.Always good to freshen up some tops.Easy to use, just pop ainto machine with damp clothes and let the machine do its thing.Just do an empty wash after and machine is back to normal.Decent price for 3 and quick delivery.

I prefer the powders. Although this says it’s intense, I didn’t find the colour pay off to be any better than just the normal Dylon.

I used these on some curtains and the dye worked but where the curtains were sun faded in places it took a lighter colour

Always dye my clothing with this washing machine dye. super easy and mess-free, just pop in the washing machine (with the lid off) and run on a wash! Always check the material, though, as some synthetic materials will not dye. One more wash to clean the machine as well as get rid of extra dye in the clothing, then hang to dry! Great way to revive old clothingUsed to improve an old jacket, much cheaper than having to bye a new one and less wasteful. Used more than one capsule, since there was alot of material and because I wanted a dark colour!

Used 3 of these to darken 3 pairs of cotton black pants and a cotton t-shirt in a top-washer machine. All 3 pants and shirt came out darker! The pants had different amounts of cotton blend. I have 1 pair that is 60% cotton and it didn't turn out as dark as the other 2 that was 97% cotton, but that's part of the function of the product.It was also easy to wash off the rest of the dye afterward.
