I bought this mostly because I don't like flossing, as I feel the bits of food are pushed further up the gums when I floss. My brother has a similar one and had also recommended it. I've been impressed with how clean it is between my teeths after using the Panasonic mouth irrigator. Each time, I've tried flossing afterwards, to see if there is anything left in between the teeths, but the floss comes out completely clean, so in that sense, I'm really happy, because it means I don't need to floss anymore. This does the job better. However, I find the jet rather strong, even in the lower setting. I do have sensitive gums, so that's probably why, but something to be aware of, if like me, you have sensitive gums. Also, don't catch the muscle below your tongue by accident with the jet, as I did! It was painful! On the other hand, I expect that after a while, my gums will be less sensitive and I won't be hiting the wrong parts with the jet by accident. It took me a while to get used to it (well, a few goes). At first, I ended up with sprayed water all around me and had to clean around the sink and the mirror each time. It's also important that the user holds the irrigator at the right angle, otherwise, food particles will be pushed up the gums, as with flossing. But once a person learns to use it properly, I believe this is a very good product and will help in preventing gum and tooth disease.

Having replaced the batteries in my EW DJ10 (4-5 yrs old and not holding charge) I then accidentally smashed the end off the nozzle which needed replacing. Having thoroughly cleaned the machine in the course of replacing the batteries, (it was unspeakable I discovered), and fitted a new nozzle, (the old one was well scaled up with our hard water), it now works like new. Should have done this essential maintenance a long time ago. Well worth the effort!

These are a replacement for the original nozzle, because some food got stuck in it.

The product is fit for purpose and performs as it should.This particular nozzle is easy to use and should last about six months of continual use.I like it because since starting to use it find my gums healthier and my mouth feeling cleaner.

Die Munddusche ist handlich und passt problemlos in meinen Kulturbeutel. Da ich mindestens einmal wöchentlich in Hotels nächtige, war mir die Größe sehr wichtig. Der Wasserdruck reicht locker aus, um die Zahnzwischenräume zu reinigen. Die Größe des Wassertanks entspricht der Kompaktheit. Wenn eine Füllung für eine komplette Mundreinigung nicht ausreicht, kann man in weniger als 10sek den Tank wieder nachfüllen.Nach knapp einem Jahr täglichem Gebrauch bin ich noch immer sehr zufrieden. Nutze nach wie vor die erste Düse. Der Akku hält fast eine ganze Woche.
