I got this for my 15 month old, who is already starting to climb anything and everything in sight. I saw that this was much cheaper than the other products online, but also it's a new seller, so I was skeptical. I received it yesterday and put it together in about half an hour, mostly because you have to tighten like 18 1" screws with a little allen wrench and your hand will cramp up. The assembly instructions provided were surprisingly pretty good, with full color photos of each step. The hardware kit came with two (!) allen wrenches, plus a few extra pieces in case you dropped them all over the place (like me). The pieces are thick and sturdy, although a couple of my wrungs were slightly curved. They still fit in the assembled product without a problem. The whole thing is pleasantly lightweight without feeling flimsy. Mine came with a top bar, unlike some of the earliest reviewers.After assembly I, a 156 lb woman, stupidly gave it a test climb in my tiled kitchen. It held, but the two sides tried to slide apart on the slick tile. I would set this up on a carpet or rug and ensure that only children use it, as the manufacturer intended.I plan to decorate this with paints like another reviewer. The dowels feel like they don't have a stain or finish at all, so they ought to take paints well. I'm excited for my toddler to try it out!

I need to start off by saying I purposely bought this for the snake. It is much bigger than I expected. However it's still perfect, easy to put together, instructions were very easy to follow. I didnt have any missing parts (extra parts were actually included) and it looks exactly as pictured. I love how I can change the angle to give my snakes a different playground every time. I've only had one on it so far but he seemed to really enjoy it. Not that my snakes are "big" but this is definitely sturdy, well made and can easily hold weight. I was expecting to have to fine touch the wood with sand paper (to make sure my snakes wouldn't get any splinters) but I didn't have to. Would recommend for other reptile owners or for small children (with supervision of course)!

We bought this when there were only 2 reviews on this. We figured, for this price, why not?!This has been a great purchase! HOWEVER, there is not a bar at the very peak of the triangle. I find this to be a huge flaw because it creates a massive gap at the top and makes it extremely difficult/impossible for a little one to cross over the peak.With that being said, my husband was able to go to the hardware store and buy another bar. We used the existing holes at the center of the peak and like that, there’s a bar! A pretty cheap fix for a reasonably priced product.

This is a great pikler especially for the price! I read a few reviews that said it didn’t have a bar across the top but others said it did. Ours came with the top bar and the entire pikler is perfect. The wood is very smooth but could also be painted if you prefer. We like that the angle of the triangle is adjustable. Our little guy likes throwing a blanket over it to make a tent as well! Overall we’re really impressed by the quality. It only took about 5 minutes to assemble with the help of a drill.

3 year old and 6 year old LOVE this toy. It's great for climbing and throwing a blanket over it to make a "tent". It was a little tricky to put together, but definitely worth it!
