I have decided to use them as my go to zip locks.

So far these are really nice. They are sturdy, and I haven’t had issues with any breaking so far, and I haven’t been gentle. I will say, they don’t exactly hold in odors. I pre-chopped some onions to freeze and the freezer definitely smelled like onions lol. Other than that I would recommend this product

Thin but durable freezer bags for storage. The seal is decent but does not hold up to foods for marinades. Freezes well and no smell to the product but smell does escape more than common plastic freezer bags. Good overall

After about 3 times of using bag tests and ziplock doesn’t stay shut

I was specifically looking for compostable FREEZER bags, which was the first word in the description, but they are only storage bags, which I could have paid LESS for if I just wanted that.

I froze some cooked ground beef in one of these biodegradable bags, and also in a regular plastic zip-lock bag (see picture to compare the two bags). These biodegradable bags definitely have a different feel to them. They feel thinner and softer compared to a regular plastic bag. The color is obviously different and less transparent. Both zip-lock's seemed to seal up just as well as the other. At this time both bags are in my freezer, and I guess time will tell if there are any tears in the bags. I am not sure how well these bags would be for washing and re-using. So far they seem fine for single use. I am not a fan of the box the bags come in, as the shape of the box is flat and way different compared to my other bags in my pantry. I prefer the longer cardboard boxes for easier storage. The benefit of these bags is obviously that they are biodegradable and environmentally friendly. If you are fine with the cost, then I don't see why you shouldn't give them a try.

These are very durable and well made. They seem more durable than ziploc bags. They're a different material and feel soft. I used these for organizing things in the house, I'm kind of weirded out about using these for my food because we don't know anything about the company and there's no telling what kind of chemicals could be in these. I could be being paranoid but better safe than sorry. These are plenty sturdy for other uses though and I do love them!
