I didn’t expect it to be as noisy - it makes a singing whale sound every time water is turned on or off in the house if the faucet is not closed, but it’s better to del with the noise than with harmful water getting back into the system, I guess. Also, it lets water out in the form of mist every time it turns on. But again, I think it’s worth it.

Works as intended ... read some review saying step back from it when turning the faucet off. Well, that ain't no lie as it sprays quite a bit of water back out... water that was probably feeding back into the house previously

When temps go below freezing these allow frost proof spigots to freeze so when it's cold they must be removed or they will freeze and break your backflow valve and your spigot. They should have a way to allow the fitting to drain so it can't freeze.

I'm not sure if this is going to be loud enough to bother me or my neighbors when the irrigation timer switches on in the quiet hours of early morning, but it makes a sort of high pitched whine. Otherwise seems to be well constructed, though I haven't tested it for functionality.

Another product leaked immediately and this product worked with no issues.

I have a frost-proof spigot in my unheated shed and used this as an extra layer of safety: If I forget to unscrew the hose before freezing temperatures, the spigot will still drain properly to prevent freezing. These are about in line with what I would pay locally and provide a cheap means of protecting my plumbing.
