Absolutely love the size and love how fast this hot plate heats up. The size is perfect for me. I use this product to warm up and restore lipsticks that have either been mushed up or if I want to use what is left in my lipstick tubes and create a new one. Love this size-great for craft projects or even teaching my 5year old grandchildren how to cook without being near such a big oven/stove!

Nice while it works
We use this in a lab, in leu of the much more expensive chemical type hot plates. They die after a few months despite low setting (3), not sure why. However, the chemical type die, too, and cost ~$700 apiece. There are a lot of these you can buy until you reach $700.
