Works as expected
I needed these for my trailer hitch and they worked fine.

Nice quality! Does not work with 5/16" chain.
The quality is good and it was advertised properly, but I missed the point that is has a 7/16" pin, so the hook end works with 5/16" chain,but you can't connect the pin end to 5/16" chain. So this is very limited in application. Still giving this 5 stars, it is a nice hook,and it wasn't mess up, but trying to save someone else the hassle if they think they are going to use this exclusively with 5/16" chain.

Strong hooks
Well made and very stout hooks I'd recommend them to anyone who wanted to make a tow chain or pull straps I yanked a 21" dia. 15 maybe 20' long Oak log with then on a 5/15 chain never even marked them.. I have no idea of the logs weight but my 05 Ford super duty diesel knew it was pulling more then a big boat or trailer ..

Slides right over links of 5/16 chain
Just what the doctor ordered. Slides perfectly on 5/16-inch links and allows you to adjust the loop size.
