Draper Redline 69127 Soft Grip Bucket Trowel, Blue, 140 mm

Firstly a note to other people reading reviews. This seller sells multiple trowels via the drop down menu so all of these reviews are for different items. I was buying a bucket trowel and was confused why people were whingeing about theirs not spreading plaster evenly. Make sure you only read the reviews for the specific trowel you’re after (says just next to the headline for their review).The trowel itself is nicely made for the price. The metalwork where the handle and trowel meet is a little lumpy but it seems sturdy and I don’t think it’s a problem. The main trowel itself is flat and doesn’t seem to bend. The size is nice for DIY use. I’ve been putting off getting one of these for ages as effectively it’s just an elaborate spoon. So glad I got one though as it means I get much less mess on my main trowel. For the price it really makes sense. Useful for plastering / tile adhesive etc.

I used it to redo the joins in my sandstone patio and was good no sign of rust.

This was very well priced and thankfully it is the perfect size for DIY jobs where you would be touching up areas.I think it would be too small for actual brick laying for example but to make small repairs this is just the right size and weight.It seems well made and strong enough. The handle is nice to use and a good size.

For the price I didn't expect much, but only needed it to plaster a few walls.I was surprised when I used it did the job as good as a more expensive brand.Only advice is as soon as you have finished using the tool was it completely clean and spray with some WD-40 and it will last ages.Mine looks brand new still.

Good for the price and certainly does the job (if you are looking for a short term solution).I use this for about 4 or 5 days in a row, cleaning it after every use but by the 6th day I noticed clear rust build up. If you are doing a quick plastering job this will be just fine but be warned that you get what you paid for. Threw it in the bin after I finished my project.

Good for what I needed it for I.e a small patch to be replastered. However can see some signs of rust starting already. Cleaned well and dried so only time will tell

Excellent as an archeological trowel. Great price and very comfortable to hold while clearing back the ground.
