It doesn't clump at all!
We bought one pack of this to replace the regular sand we are using, because our (white) cats always get dirty paws in the sand. One of them immediately used the litter, the other didn't like it at first, but I think she is using it as well. "I think" because there is absolutely no clumping effect at all. I was wondering for two days what is happening, because I couldn't find any pee in the litter boxes. Turns out the litter just absorbs the pee, but doesn't form clumps at all. After a while the colour of the litter changes back, so you can't even see the pee. So unfortuantely there is no way with this litter to remove the pee! Won't buy this product again and can't recommend.
