Purchased this to help my elderly mother too transfer from her wheelchair into our 4x4 no problem actually purchased another to hang from passenger roof grab handle since we have wind deflectors cannot fit it to window frame.The one star review scratching glass the idea of the strap is you fit it when needed with window open not perminantly fixed being wobbly comes from it being a webbing strap not a solid bar.
