Such a fun book!
My 4 year old loves this book- and when I ‘sing’ in different voices for the characters.

Silly, yet SUPER informative
The media could not be loaded. It's written in a very lyrical way, so get your jazz hands out and start the show!I also want to say that this book really gives you a lot of pages and info. Many educational kids books APPEAR as though they're going to be super informative, but then end up being incredibly brief, with only a couple of actual facts and mostly just silly filler. And THIS BOOK is definitely silly, but is also jam-packed with a lot of information. I appreciate that! Thank you!

Probably a bad idea... 😂
When the author wrote on Twitter that this book was probably a bad idea, I have to say I was intrigued. I love the work of Adam Rex and am an unabashed fan. This book is big, longer than the average length of your 5-10 minute picture book. To be honest, it's also hilarious. The illustrations by Laura Park are also hilarious, they're full of little funny details and big visual jokes. There's a disco ball toilet, all kinds of fun foods, beautiful layouts, it really is just lovingly crafted. How funny is it, you might ask? My daughter and I were reading it aloud and laughing at every page, and my fifteen year old who only listens to what comes out of his earbud and the crinkle of food wrappers actually pulled out his earbud to listen to the rest of it. It's that good.Is it gross? Yes, but in a second grade potty humor way, and not consistently throughout. It really was just fun!

Hilarious and educational
We got this book for our 3 year old for Christmas after she developed a very, very early interest in the digestive system. In 24 hours we have read/sung this front to back no fewer than 7 times. She’s absolutely obsessed, and it hasn’t grown old for us either (yet haha). Absolutely recommend this for anyone willing to get a little silly and sing about the useless appendix and digestion with your kids

Found at library and am now forced to buy a copy
My 3 year old found this at the library so we checked it out. She keeps asking me to renew it, and since she is now 4 I figure I ought to just buy our own copy so other people can discover this gem. It's longer than our usual children's books, but she sits through the whole thing! I'm at the point of rolling my eyes every time she asks to read it, but it is rather cute and quite informative. And if the kids love it, then I shall continue to grin and bear it....again, and again, and again.... :-)

This is hilarious! Awesome book :)
My husband used to sing in musicals and he totally loved the book. It is hilarious book going through digestion stages with musical touch. We had to laugh a lot as a family reading it for the first time today:D love it!
