Works a treat
This is my first refill pack, as after looking everywhere had given up until I saw it on Amazon. Mine has been needing a refill for some time, but still works. For really dirty clothes, I add a scoop of stain remover or a squirt of remover on stains. You could just use the washing machine programme for heavier washing, and I think it might do the same. I ticked 5 stars for fragrance, as there is none, which I like.I prewash my towels and bedding with white vinegar for the anti bacterial action and dust mites removal. Wash with the egg, and then use vinegar (a natural fabric conditioner and better for the machine) and lavender oil in the rinse, which works fine for my sensitive skin and breathing issues. Technically, you do not need any fabric conditioner when using the egg, but I like the softness you get from vinegar (which dissipates on drying, and with the lavender), so it is personal preference. As a point of interest, my 100ml bottle of lavender essential oil just lasted 2 years, so really good value. Also, my machine's detergent drawer stays cleaner for much longer when not using fabric conditioner.

I am now a regular ecoegg user
I was very sceptical about forgoing detergent and using ecoegg but as I am curious I just had to give it a go.I use the unfragranced version and use with a little fabric softener and washing soda to soften the water. I have been using the ecoegg for a few months now for all of my dark washes which covers the vast majority of my washes and I have been very pleased so much so that I have ordered this refill pack.As I my washing machine is quite old and using laundry liquid or powder masks the smell of the buildup of soap products I detected a musty smell coming from my washer between uses. I gave my machine a full clean by firstly trying specific washing machine cleaning products which made a difference but were not fully effective. Then I tried the old but tried and tested products - I sprayed white vinegar in the soap dispenser draw and recess and gave it a good clean with a brush. Then put more white vinegar in the fabric softener compartment. Then I put half a bag of washing soda( cheap as chips) in the washing machine drum and set the washer to a long , hot 90 degree C wash without any laundry in.I did repeat this but I am now left with a washer without between wash odour.

I like the Ecoegg
Firstly, I like the Ecoegg. I think it's a great idea and, having been using it for a few months, I think it actually works very well. Even my son's white football kit comes up clean which is quite a feat! What I don't like is this refill pack. Let's get one thing straight - it doesn't do 210 washes. What it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging, but does say on the instructions inside, is that the white balls only last for 72 washes. I have contacted the seller about this but other than them asking me if I was sent the wrong product (I wasn't), I haven't heard back from them. It's only been a few days so you never know - perhaps an abundant explanation is just around the corner. The other problem I have with this refill pack is the instructions. They are not bewildering but leave you scratching your head lightly and wondering if you've quite understood them. It says to put all three packets of white balls into the Ecoegg along with the black balls (which do last for 210 washes) but I don't think this is physically possible without them spilling everywhere. I also wonder whether they actually mean you should use one pack of white balls at a time - three 72's making just over 210 - however, that is not what it tells you to do in the instructions. It's such a shame as I would like to carry on using the Ecoegg but I am so disappointed in this particular product that I'm not quite sure whether it won't be easier to go back to using eco-friendly detergent. ***After a helpful discussion with the seller I have been to the Ecoegg website and discovered a downloadable set of instructions for the refill pack. They are different to the instructions included and much clearer. I would recommend downloading these if you buy the refill.

Really work
Brilliant, I've used Eco Egg before and they work very well. Save a fortune. No need for fabric conditioner even with woollens ( you can if you want). I've seen some negative reviews in the past which mention 'stale smell' and 'white residue' but I've never had any trouble, I think that's to do with their washing machine. I would recommend you use the company's 'detox' tablets to get rid of old soap powder. Would highly recommend.

Finally, What Doing Laundry Should Be! Miraculous!
Years ago I wanted to break with the "big name with a big plastic bottle" laundry detergent, so I learned how to make my own laundry detergent and did so for several years. Then I saw the ecoegg on QVC...it looked miraculous, but actually it's science! I ordered it and haven't looked back since. I am not a fan of artificial "laundry" scents that trick you into believing that your clothing is now "clean". The ecoegg really cleans all textiles that I launder. After using the ecoegg my laundry doesn't smell like anything...truly clean! My husband was a skeptic at first but I have overheard him several times expounding on the ecoegg to friends and co-workers. So glad I found the refills on Amazon. If you like scent with your laundry they do have fragrance options. And no more big plastic bottles! Hooray!

The best laundry product you can ever imagine!
This is the most easy and ecological laundry product I ever used! You just put it with launrdy push the button and that's it! No need to avoid getting hands dirty by traditional detergents, no need to carry the heavy detergents from the market periodically, no need to find a place to store the detergent, no plastic waste...etc. because it is just a super cute egg that can be used many many times! It washes nicely though, I don't notice stains left. Maybe sounds exaggerating, but I really think this egg should win a Nobel Prize of Laundry!Thank you for the team who invented Eco Eggs!

Genial
