Ford 1717503 Tailgate Badge

Genuine Ford Focus MK3 boot badge. Fits perfectly. Removed the original by applying warm air to soften adhesive and used a plastic trim removal tool to remove the original badge. Cleaned up the mounting and fitted new badge. Took all of 10mins. A little pricey for what it is but looks nice.

Genuine part ,Brilliant just glad to get the correct part as none in stock anywhere ,easy to fit and all good except a bit pricey.

Came a day early and well packaged in perfect condition. It fitted without any problem, in no time, over the existing badge on the tailgate of my 2012 focus mk3 zetec 1.6.Just remember to use a cleaner such as methylated spirits on the old badge to remove any trace of traffic film, wax etc. before taking the backing strip off the new badge and sticking it on top of the old one. Instant transformation.

It is the right size but it doesn’t fit properly on the 2012 mk3 Ford Focus atall. If it was to rain water will get in the gap then into the boot and the number plate bulb. It’s not a proper fit.

What easy way to sort out my rear focus ford badge, This one just sticks over the the faded one, perfect, no cutting or trying to get the old one off, took it out of packaging, 2 mins job done Very pleased

Genuine. Fitted perfectly. Replaced one that corroded after just two years. Ford should really give them out for free, but driving to the garage would have cost more in petrol than just buying this one.Bit of a knack to removing the old one. Probably worth watching some videos before attempting. I used a hairdryer, plastic spudgers and edge protection to ensure I didn't kill the bodywork of the car. Half the road was hidden underneath the old one, which was destroyed in the removal process (you need to know where to press and where to pull). After a good clean, this one fitted perfectly and stuck with its included sticker. It hasn't moved since and my car looks like new.

I ordered this part (Ford 1717503) to replace the old and badly faded aluminium original oval badge at the back of my Mk2 CMax.I am very happy with the items fit...Unlike alot of people who just stuck the new badge over the old one, I chose to remove the old worn badge using my wife's hair dryer to warm the glue and a pair of pliers to pull it off which took me around 10mins to do. After clearing the area with white spirits and then warm soapy water I was ready to stick the new badge in place which was a perfect fit...I think the new badge is actually made from plastic but its pretty hard to tell without trying to bend it, I myself am okay with that as it means I won't need to worry about corrosion In the future...My only negative is the high price for the badge

Ils faut utiliser une colle de meilleur qualité car ce décolle facilement.

Ce n'est pas la bonne dimension pour le Ranger. Il manque quelques millimètres (environ 5mm).Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas les modèles où l'on peut l'utiliser
