A murder mystery full of secrets and unexpected twists
Loved this book couldn’t put it down. It is such a great read and it’s very sad that such a wonderful story teller is no longer with us. A magnificent mysterious story which would adapt well to the screen like so many Lucinda Riley novels.

Great story
Enjoyed the book … how many murders went on at that school! Crikey don’t send your kids there… well worth reading though!

Very enjoyable read
A real page turner, completely different to other stories written by Lucinda Riley of which I have read many including the Seven Sisters Series. It just shows what a hugely talented lady she was and she is much missed. The characters were finely drawn and the situations were ones many of us could identify with, including the curse of bullying in schools and attempts by some men to undermine women in workplaces such as the police force. The story came to a surprising & satisfying conclusion, with the natural justice that most of us would wish for in real life.It would be great if Harry Whittacker could continue the character of Jazz with further murders mysteries.

Good murder mystery
Enjoyed this book despite it dragging a bit in the middle. Well written and I didn’t guess the ending, not even close!Murder and suicide. The heroine new police lady to Norfolk (following a breakdown in the Met) gets there in the end. Her ex husband throws in his opinions. In that aspect it was a bit predictable.A good read.

A gripping story
A cracking read. I have read all Lucinda Riley's books so was looking forward to this very different from her other novels as explained by her son Harry in the Foreword at the beginning but it didn't disappoint. Loved DI Jazz Hunter's character and she certainly was a great detective as she worked on the case at a local boarding school and as the past story came to light it made for a real page Turner. Lucinda was such an amazing writer and a beautiful lady and the legacy of her fabulous books will be bought for years to come

Simply great
To Harry, Lucinda's. son. Harry thank you for producing this book just as Lucinda virtually would have. As a massive fan of The Seven Sisters , as well as Pa Salt, now would you carry on and develop Jazz for a few more adventurous stories please. The only reason I've given the book 3 stars is that I had previously given the others all 5 stars.

Intrigue to the last
What a wonderful book. So sad that it was not published earlier. So good that Harry Whittaker was able to publish. He definitely follows in his mother's brilliant footsteps.
