It's fine, It improves the experience of writing with the S-pen, but it can get lost when you are writing. Another factor is that most cases don't have a big slot to hold the pen with the cover. I already lost one S-pen because it felt from he case.

I bought this for my Samsung galaxy tab s6 lite pen. It fits perfectly! It takes a little bit of work to get the pen all the way in, but nothing was difficult. There is a little opening for the area that you press to erase and it actually makes it easier to find it when I'm writing. It also doesn't affect the magnet on the side where the pen rests. I'm very pleased with this purchase!
