Good but 'Plug Me In' is better
It's a good DVD for the unseen footage and particularly the opening tracks that have already been commented on elsewhere, i.e. the first TV appearance with Bon Scott cross dressing with all his tats showing and a fag in hand, bizarre and fun, and then the one on the back of a cart in Melbourne playing to bewildered looking passers-by. There is some good stuff on here but sadly, this also has been said here many times, it is slightly ruined due to dubbing and so does not convey the full energy.I found the Collectors Edition of Plug Me In much better and oozing authenticity, sound there has been brought up to a certain standard as much as possible but is from the original recording, no dubbing there. So for a better more authentic experience I would recommend that if you can only buy one. The two complement each other nicely though as you get additional tracks from shows that have been left off the other one respectively, there is no duplication. Now I'm looking forward to receiving Live In 1977...

AC-DC Family jewels a must for any fan
This is a must have dvd for any fan of acdc , especially someone like myself who is at the younger scale to acdc .basicallyas most will by now realise its a 2-disc dvd set . disc 1 the bon scott years and disc 2 brian johnson years . first thing that struck me was the price from amazon !!! you would expect to pay twice this price in any high st store , excellant value for money . whilst most hardcore acdc fans will have seen a lot of the footage , for the price alone it makes another addition to your collection , at a very affordable price .The quality of the case for the set is similar to the new re-mastered cd"s which includes a 24 pages booklet with many pics . allthough i would have preferred a stronger case than the flimsy one . without spoiling it before you see it , it basically includes all the classics plus a few rare appearences . and also all the past line-ups .overall a great value for money 2-disc set , with the only down side being the mis-leading description about tv appearences , which i was expecting interviews and a bit of chat from the guys , which is even rarer than the videos . well worth the money though ;-)

... this to replace a stolen one and I'm so glad I did
I bought this to replace a stolen one and I'm so glad I did. It's like a visual history of the band and we'll worth a place in any fans collection.

all hail AC/DC !
outstanding value, best of both worlds, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson , the "swoosh" between tracks gets a little "trying" after a while, but the DVD content in itself is spot on !
