Great Product!
I live in Wisconsin, so a product like this is a must for late fall & winter.Very insulating and warm, some times a little too warm! I have to be sure to zip it open indoors otherwise my daughter starts to sweat. I was recently out in cold 50mph wind and baby was toasty warm inside her carrier. It is very easy to take on and off. It stays put securely on our Chicco KeyFit 30 car seat.It is very water repellent. Snow and light rain beads up and rolls right off. I imagine in a heavy downpour it would become saturated though-- I would not call it "waterproof".I use a small metal binder clip to secure the bottom, zippered flap in place whenever I need to open it slightly. This keeps it tucked out of the way easily.Only complaint is that I wish it had more robust velcro to hold the top flap open. A strong magnet would be even better.

A Must, but needs improvements in design.
This was good while we had our infant carrier—we switched to a convertible car seat due to her reflux and no longer can use. We will gift this to any mom expecting a baby before or around colder months. The reason why it is 4 stars instead of 1–is there is no way to fold the zipping part so baby is not too warm while in car. If you have heat on in car your baby will be SOAKED before you even arrive where you are going too. See our solution below in cons list.Pros:-easy to put on and take off(can do it while baby in car seat—see first con-fit both my SafetyFirst infant carrier and my sisters Graco infant carrier-keeps baby warm outside (SEE con though!!)-stylish and bold-has zipper for easy opening and closing-has Velcro at top to leave the viewing circle open so baby can see-also a teether, or at least my baby thought so (see attached picture)-easy to wash-protects from rain, wind, snowCONS:-kept baby “too” warm, we found she was sweating while sitting in it in car. We found that taking it off the car seat when we got in the car helped and putting it back on the car seat before heading out of the car was the best solution.-sometimes the Velcro at the viewing hold wouldn’t stick and baby’s face would be covered while driving thus resulting in extreme crying-there is no velcro for the bottom part the at part you zip up so if baby is too warm you have to fold it and tuck it in or take off the cover when inside of car.-when we added a DVD player in the car and tried folding the zipper part it blocked the DVD so the only answer to baby over heating and seeing DVD player was to remove once in car.

Kept my new born warm during 18 degree weather
It kept my new born warm during the winter months. It worked really great. At times she got to warm so we just open up the flap more. If we were inside a restaurant we would open it all the way and take her out of her winter outdoor onesy. Otherwise she would sweat. So I’m happy because taking off layers is simpler then not having enough.

Not child safe :(
I’m sorry that I have to give one star but we had our 4 month old boy in his car seat in the back of my truck we were driving down the highway when he started to scream when my wife checked on him he had his finger stuck in the hole on the zipper and was swelled up she thought it was broken he was screaming so bad I pulled the truck off the road my wife was crying he was screaming so bad and also where the two zippers end it leaves two point rite in front of his eyes. NOT CHILD SAFE AT ALL

Thin and did not fit well on nuna
I live in cold Canadian winter. This cover is not very thick and fits awkwardly on nuna carseat so that there are gaps that could let air in. Ok as protective wind breaker I guess if just spending a minute outside from car to inside, but would still have to bundle up baby in snowsuit. I returned and got another (7AM) that was warmer because I wanted to be able to stroll a bit. Note though that most covers of all brands don’t wrap perfectly on any carseat.

It's ok but not as warm as it could be.
This is a good cover but I'm not sure it would keep baby warm in very cold weather or for a long period of time. Luckily, we've only needed it as a cover going to and from the car. We have an older car seat and it does not fit very well, there are gaps at the sides that allow cold air in. Also, not sure if it is the cover or just because of the poor fit on our infant seat but the velcro tabs on the flap, that are supposed to connect both to keep it closed and open are no aligned. When connected it puffs up causing more gaps that cold air can get in. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it fit is not the products fault, but I still feel, even if it did fit, that it would not be sufficient to protect baby in very cold weather as advertised.

Love it!
Fleece lining keeps my LO nice and warm. On frigid cold days I slip a blanket in there for extra warmth. Baby stays nice and toasty. Zipper tabs come to eye level and could have been made of soft tabs or used a fabric cover on the tabs for safety. Front flap could also use extra velcro tab to allow flap to be pulled back and secured at the front to allow access to baby. These are small suggestions. Otherwise definately a quality product, and I will recommend to friends and family.

Very good, practical and safe
My 3 month old daughter loves it and it blocks all the wind and the flap doesn't hit her face when i close it when im outside. Im from Canada so winters are brutal and i recommend this!!!!
