When I ran across my Nintendo SP and several games, I thought it would be fun to play, but could barely get it charged. A bit of research and I found it likely needed a new battery. Though some of the numbers were slightly different, it turns out this is the replacement for the older version of the battery and should be a bit more powerful. Anyway, it was easy enough to open things up with the included tool kit, popped out the old battery, popped in a the new one, closed it back up, charged it and voila, it works like new. And look, I suck at teeny tiny Doom as much as I ever did. Still fun to play though. :)
