Mouse trap
Lovely size and easy to assemble, I caught a very well fed mouse the first time I used it. Unfortunately whilst trying to let it go it hopped right out and jumped into a hole in the skirting board, ready to go right back to it’s home. 😂😂My fault, I was so keen to keep it alive, better luck tomorrow night!!

Very effective!!!
On the evening of the 6th, I discovered an uninvited guest in my house and ordered this product. It arrived by noon on the 7th – super fast delivery. I placed it in a suspicious spot that evening, and when I checked on the morning of the 8th – as you can see in the photo – I caught it!! It has now been kindly escorted to a nearby park for a little stroll.

Use with caution
Please only set these traps somewhere you will be able to check hourly. On 2 occasions now I have set either as I am leaving for work and checking as soon as I am home, or before I go to bed and checking as soon as I wake up. Both times, the poor mice had passed away 😢 I feel terrible. Just something to be mindful of when trying to do the right thing by setting humane traps!Otherwise fine and obviously caught mice both times, but one had their tail caught (luckily not badly or the cause of death by the looks of it 😢) but other reviews looking back have said they chop tails off.

They work (but only with fully grown mice)
Ordered these traps after finding signs of mice in a kitchen cupboard. Have used them for the past two nights, and caught a (fully grown) mouse each night, so they definitely work!We used chocolate spread as bait. Just enough to poke through the holes in the removable bait section.Very easy to put the bait in, set the trap, and free the mouse afterwards. And of course because the traps are see-through you can see straight away if a mouse is in there.Overall very pleased with them, but have removed a star for the following:(a) They are difficult to get clean and dry, even using the supplied sponge-on-a-stick. Mouse poo gets stuck underneath the trap platform and in gaps in the plastic. Something like a small bottle brush or maybe even a paint brush might be better for that.(b) Not sure they'll last very long. Last night's mouse had been gnawing at the air holes and almost broke through the plastic. Unlikely it would have managed to escape, since we checked the trap and freed the mouse first thing in the morning, but could have injured itself trying - and now there is less plastic for the next mouse to gnaw through.UPDATE: We found a young mouse in the trap did not trigger it. It could get to the bait without the door springing closed.

No
Didnt like product at first as the mouse nearly died in it but tried it again and it was fine, eventually I caught 4 mice with it, the food compartment should be scrapped as the mice actually had bitten through it to get to food as there is no food in the trap itself but i put some peanut butter inside the trap is when i caught them.

Good product
The media could not be loaded. Tried all different kinds of traps to try and catch the mouse living above my bedroom for months and to no avail tried these and the second night I have finally caught him he’s quite big so impressed with the product and it’s easy to know when you’ve caught one as you can hear them banging on the trap door!

Definitely works
Loaded It with peanut butter as recommended by the Internet and within 2 days, I'd caught this little guy.It was a little difficult to release him as the bait created a vacuum, but with a little encouragement it was no problem (this was a baiting issue rather than a product issue).Tl;dr worked well and the little guy was released.

Small.
He wanted rat sized trapped which these say they are. They say they are mouse and rat traps. But they are pretty small. They are however easy to use. And easy to clean. However they broke. we got them to catch our hamster who has escaped his cage. He has gone into the trap ate the food then managed to opened up the bait bit and get out of the trap. He also broke the mechanism in the one he escaped from. I’m not too sure they are very effective for the catching of rodents now.
