This is the third Baby dan wooden highchair I have bought in the last 7 years, though this being the newer model is the only one I have in this style. To be honest there is not much difference between them but the differences have made positive improvements.I like other lovers of the baby dan chair have been attracted by the style of chair without going the full hog and taking out a mortgage to buy a Stokke Tripp trapp with all its accessories that you need on top, just to make it functional. The only thing I am disappointed with in the newer version is that it didn't make the base a bit shorter and adjust the angle of the chair to maintain stability. I have just about learnt to avoid stubbing my toe on the legs after 7 years but it still happens. The base of the new one is fractionally shorter and marginally wider but there mm in it not cm.Construction was straightforward with holes and screws all lining up. It was less of a faff than I remember! You do need a screwdriver though it says you don't need tools.The new design of the bar to hold in the baby is miles better than the last one! For one you can take if off with out having to remove half the chair first!!! The harness is much better...my last one just had a single strap. The back is also now one piece instead of two which makes it sturdier. One of the pieces of my old style chair keeps getting loose but it can't happen with the new one.In terms of comfort for baby/toddler I think they are great chairs allowing baby to eat with you at the tables. Our 4/12 old is loving being up and in about us instead of one the floor at tea time! My 7 yr old is not keen to change her chair which is why I had to buy a third one!! I couldn't coax her into a grown up chair!!! She sees her chair as quite grown up.My cushion insert for my old one fits nicely in the new design though I might lengthen the velcro to keep the back in place.All in all good job, good price and free delivery!!

We bought 1 for our 5 year old who was having difficulty using cutlery properly whilst sat on an adult chair at the table. The chair made a big difference, now he is seated properly meal times are much happier. We then bought a 2nd chair for our 2.5 year old. Probably the only baby / child item I wish I’d bought sooner.

We have two of these now due to the arrival of our second child. I believe these are made from rubber wood which has a sort of non-porous finish to it so they are readily cleaned. They are nicely made and feel quite heavy, which is reassuring given that these can supposedly be used by adults when they are configured for them.These chairs are much much harder for children to tip over backwards compared to some competitor designs due to the geometry of the legs and how far forward and back they extend.Simple allen bolts as used to fasten them together and they can be adjusted over time to suit children as they grow. Both of our children are on them and I honestly would never give a recommendation to any product designed for children unless I felt it was 100% safe.

Arrives flat pack. Easy to put together and very stable. Ive ordered the comfort inserts which are currently out of order. I think this is excellent value for money and will last a long time.

Absolutely ingenious chair. It is tough enough, so that I can sit on it myself without a problem. Assembly takes a bit of doing, but tools are included and in about 20 minutes, everything is set up. My kids (4 and 2) each has their own and they love these chairs. The chairs are also so steady by design, that no matter how kids climb on them (and mine have tried every way), they won't tilt or fall over. A full on thumbs up! The chair is also durable - one can probably go through ten children or more without much visible wear. After just one kid, they look as good as new.

one star lost for its awkward installation as the user manual is a bit confusing, not telling clearly which parts e.g. screw/bolts to use; you need to make your own guess and if lucky it goes on otherwise you'd have to break up the whole thing and put it back again.... apart from that, the final assembled product is good and firm.

After having the chair for exactly 2 years a crack has appeared on the foot rest. My son weights 26 kg now. Wrote email to baby Dan as that is the only contact they have. However no response at all 🤔☹😤. Any suggestions how to get in touch with them would be greatly appreciated!P.S.We received the replacement part.

Love this chair. Fuctions the same as the Tripp Trapp. Only down side is the flimsy straps that you get to strap little one in with. Not a big deal for me as I dont need them.
