I bought this cane for travel. I just got back from a 4 month trip overseas, and this cane performed marvelously. It is light weight, and at the same time very sturdy. I weigh about 225 pounds, and it supported me perfectly on my daily excursions. The handle is very comfortable in my hand, and the cane easily adjusts to various heights. It also breaks down very easily for travel. I also received several compliments on the looks of the cane from passers by. I highly recommend it.

This cane is so well machined that when I pulled off the band that holds it in the folded position, it snapped all of its parts except two into the securely unfolded position with lightning speed. For a second, it looked like a live animal was leaping at me. Darn near gave me a heart attack, but I love the quick, strain-free assembly anyway. The two remaining parts slid quickly into position and locked easily into place. The height adjustment button works smoothly, unlike those on other items that almost bust your fingers to push. The cane is very lightweight, very well balanced, and very sturdy. The wooden T-handle gives a much more secure grip than the standard curved plastic or metal cane handle. I didn't care for the quad tip it came with (too heavy), but it smoothly unscrews, and the standard rubber tip also provided is easily pushed on without a wrestling match and stays on. I've been using canes for many years, and this is one of the best. It's well worth the higher cost to get a cane that works so well.

Great for traveling

The media could not be loaded. Attractive cane and for those who are not keen that they now have to use a cane to balance, this puts a little "cool" into it. It is adjustable to a height that is comfortable for you, very sturdy and the handle is a lovely wood stain that is comfortable to hold onto. There is a subtle crystal decor at the base of the handle where the walking stick attaches to. And a black strap to strap onto your wrist. Classy and very functional.

I had the old brown cane and walking around with. That just made me feel old and slow. It just didn’t make me feel good. I saw this cane. It was nice looking had a smooth handle. I decided to try it well I don’t walk fast. I have arthritis issues but when I’m out and I’m walking, I feel nice walking with this cane. I don’t feel like people looking at you and saying oh look at that poor person with the cane. It’s nice it’s sleek you could fold it up and put it in your your bag or your pocket when you’re at a friends house for a restaurant restaurant It’s a great bye

If you are unable to bend over and touch the ground don't buy this cane. Everytime I am in a position where I have no where to sit the cane while I do something else it falls to the ground. If I am lucky there will be someone around who can pick it up for me.

My previous cane had a large square base that was heavy and just plain ugly. The new foldable cane has a smaller 4point flexible base. Provides better stability and will stand upright. A second single rubber foot is provided and easily changed for the 4 point base. The redwood handle adds a touch of “class.” The ability to fold up the cane is a great feature for restaurant booths or movie theater seats.
