FOR SPIDERBEAMS 40 FOOT MAST
I use this for the Spiderbeams 40 foot mast. I cut the bottom off this hitch mount. I slide the Spiderbeams mast in from the bottom of the hitch mount , so I do not have to remove the rubber cap. I then slide this into the receiver on my Tundra, un pinned ( no need for it, when parked ) and hoist up the mast. It holds really well, but I also dig a little divot in the ground to keep the bottom of the mast from rocking back and forth. It works awesome and holds my dipole antenna really well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. Again, I only use when parked. I never drive with it in the receiver.

Exactly as advertised
I have a two inch flagpole that worked perfect in this. I looked everywhere and this was the only one I could find that would fit my flagpole and was someone affordable. I think it's well built and works great.

A different use for this, but works great!
I drive a pilot car for oversize loads. I purchased this flagpole holder in hopes it would work for my height pole (Rattler High Pole), so I have this in front of my truck instead of behind. The pipe is pretty thin walled, but tough enough to do a great job with the pole. It is quite a bit bigger around than the Rattler, so we took some large hose, cut it down and glued it to the pole. It was a snug fit but worked great to keep it from wobbling. The square tubing was a slight bit smaller than the opening on the grill guard/bumper hitch, so my husband just tack welded a few spots and it fit snug. There was no more movement. We did have it powder coated along with the bumper, running boards, tool box, etc, so I don't have the rust problems I've seen talked about in the reviews. Mine did come with the thumb screw. Overall, I have had no problems at all with this item other than that sizing issues (which I don't believe are the fault of the manufacturer or seller). If I can find a bumper for my new truck like the one on the truck I used this on, I would absolutely be buying another one! Shipping was prompt.Camco 51611 Hitch Mount Flagpole Holder

Great addition to a Jeep
The entire mount is sturdy and fits perfectly. I do kind of wish it came with the proper pin needed but that was easily remedied by a trip to the hardware store. That said, the flag opening is HUGE. Way too big for a standard flag pole or even an off road flag. Again, this was easily remedied though. I simply cut a pool noodle to length and then cut it up long ways to make it open wider. When inserted into the mount and the flag pole inserted into the pool noodle it creates a nice tight fit. It's the perfect length for large rear tires mounted on as well. I do suggest getting a 9 to 10 ft flag pole if you plan to use a 3 foot by 5 foot flag. This raises the flag to above the tire if you have a larger tire on the back.

Works for Starlink
We use this to anchor our dish for our Starlink on our fifth wheel and it worked amazing! I just went on the telescoping pole is very easy. I can adjust the height and get my dish exactly where I need it.

Corrosion will be an issue
Simple and is not overbuilt. The flagpole holder is exhibiting surface rust after only two months of use. I doubt it will last more than 2 years without repeated rust removal and repainting.

Perfect fit for the Harbor Freight telescoping flag pole.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say that this flagpole holder was designed specifically for the Harbor Freight 20ft. Aluminum telescopic flag pole, it fit that good.Sturdy steel construction with good welds. My only small gripe is with the small thumbscrew that comes with this holder. Do yourself a favor and head over to a good hardware store that has those pullout bins of specialized hardware, and buy a larger 4 point/arm male knob, your fingers will thank you.

Great hitch for flying my flags
This has been a great hitch for flying my flags. I simply bought a stick of 3” PVC and cut it the right height to fly two flags at once if wanted. I just used eye bolts and drilled through the PVC for flag attachments. Had it for 6 years and still use it!

Outstanding.
Really like it. Met and exceeded expectations. I took the advice of other customers and used 2" PVC pipe 6' long, 2" pvc cap, 2 I-bolts, 2 small carabiners, lock tight and now I have a sick flag pole to fly my flag while rolling down the highway. I have been approached by multiple truck owners asking "how and where do I get one"?

Good for adding a flag
Want to add a flag to your truck, this is it. Mount doesn't seem solid, yet multiple passes on the highway with a flag and it still holds up fine.

Two thumbs up
Excellent quality, received as advertised, shipped quickly.I am using it on the back of my 5th wheel trailer to hold up an aluminum pole which supports my two solar panels, perfect, panels rotate towards sun with ease.

Loose Fit In Receiver
The hitch floats around WAY to much in my 2" hitch receiver. It's makes you a bit nervous when driving at higher speeds. I'm super surprised not to see more complaints regarding this?? If anyone has a fix for that I'd appreciate the help please!Other than that it's great. I fitted a PVC pipe as my pole which is snug. The screw to keep it from falling out seems to hold it tight.
