It worked just fine just what I needed

I had a hard time finding a replacement for the original on my grill. None of the generic ignitors would work. Amazon to the rescue. The only reason I gave this one four stars is the button/cover is cheap-looking shiny plastic and it stripped out when I tried to screw it on the first time. I always start by turning counterclockwise until I feel the threads catch. This is a tried and true method to avoid cross-threading, but when the button seated against the front of the grill, it jumped threads with the lightest force. Likely poor manufacturing, not stripped threads. Oh well. It was 1/3 the price of other similar ignitors and the button is staying in place as long as I don't mess with it. Puts out a lot of power. I accidentally shocked myself while handling it. Amazing what a little AAA battery is capable of.

Perfect fit, fast delivery and product was as described. Unfortunately I have to edit my review since this item lasted less than a couple months now the clicks for the ignition are so far apart that doesn’t crear enough sparks to start the grill. For the brand TEC you expect a better quality. This is not.
