I don't particularly like the smell of this product, but it's not off putting - sort of like menthol. It does have a very cooling effect and if your skin is a bit raw or broken, it will sting. I have a skin rash that is intensely itchy to the point it drives me crazy and it was quite sore from uncontrollable scratching. This was an itch that made not scratching impossible. When first applying the cream, it felt a bit more itchy for a short time, but very quickly (within 5-10 minutes) the itching calmed down to the point I've stopped itching AND scratching. What a relief. Also, the redness of the rash has diminished greatly after the second day of using it.I did research on all the ingredients in this cream. Nearly all of them are known anti-inflammatories and/or antibacterial/antifungal herbals. The ingredients are well chosen to take care of most skin conditions. I am very impressed. I am no longer unable to fall asleep and no longer waking up multiple times per night with severe itching. The cream is not greasy and has a very silky and moisturizing feel when applying it. I'm very happy with it.The only caution is that if you might be allergic, try it in a small area first to make sure you have no allergic reactions. It is highly recommended.

So I've been using the product for about 2 weeks as of writing this review and thus far it's been working quite well. I suffer from psoriasis and some of the smaller patches are clearing up and healing and one slightly bigger one and it appears the rest are slowly healing as well. So, not clear yet but things are looking good.I have tried several other products and so far this is shaping up to be the best choice. I will update this review if my skin is fully clear as well.In my experience it felt a bit like icy hot in the sensation on the skin, no pain or anything for me. A slight and I mean slight sting when one patch was a bit on the tender side but otherwise not bad at all. Itching and flaking have reduced about 90% currently.I'd definitely recommend trying the product, it's worth the shot. I feel it's going to fully clear my skin in a reasonable time frame.

I have dealt with eczema all my life and recently I experienced a flare up that was not taking to my normal regimen. I saw this product and read the reviews and decided to give it a try. When I used I was a little skeptical because it has a really minty feel like bucks and burned a little (do not use close to eyes). That sensation didn’t last long and within 3 days I noticed results. The flares where gone and my skin looked so clear. I high recommend and will definitely purchase again as I have tried plenty of other products and this one has worked the fastest and the best.

Most of the reviews for this product mention eczema or psoriasis. I haven't seen any that address dishydrotic eczema (pompholyx), and it doesn't help to clear or heal that particular condition, which just has to run its course. However, I have yet to find any other lotion or cream that's as soothing as this one, and I've had dishydrosis off and on my entire life. This cream is the only thing I've actually looked forward to applying. The tar-based ointment I usually use is unfortunately greasy and has to be covered with something non-porous like a glove, which is obnoxious, and the ointment also stings when applied, so even though it relieves the dryness I dread using it. This cream has a menthol-type mild, cooling tingle that's actually really pleasant; dishydrosis makes the affected skin hot and this counteracts that. I didn't have a problem with burning or stinging, and in fact I got the best cooling results and most relief on broken skin. I think the cooling aspect acts as a counter-irritant to the horrible itching dishydrosis causes, which is another plus. The cream reduces the appearance of the eczema if you reapply it often enough so that the skin stays moisturized. It doesn't actually cure dishydrosis or clear it up any faster. Because it's non-greasy it has to be reapplied fairly frequently, but since it feels good, that's not a problem. Another plus is that you don't have to use very much to get good relief. I like this stuff a lot and just bought another jar of it.

In the middle of the night a patch I've had on my face was driving me crazy and I searched psoriasis meds and ordered this and another to arrive in the morning. This was $24.90 and the other, MG217, was in a tube, not a jar, and just $8.99. This box was plastic-wrapped, so I opened the tube first, and used it twice and by night the patch was nearly gone. Overnight with another application of the MG217, it was completely gone. So I decided to return this more expensive product. But no -- it isn't returnable. So I opened it and applied some just to see, since I'm stuck with it. Wow -- has much stronger smell. And it is just 2% Salicylic Acid compared to the MG217 which is 3%. Lesson learned - and I'm stuck and not sure with the smell and sting I really want to use it again. Have to rec theMG217 for no smell, much less $$, and it worked immediately on a fairly mild case. That night I would have paid most anything for the result, so I won't complain too much. Perhaps those with stronger cases will find this better. Good luck all --UPDATE: I did pass this jar on to my son and he has found some help with it. The company reached out to me several ways to offer a refund, which was appreciated. Since I had opened it and passed it on, I won't pursue a refund. I hope it helps my son. I'm glad if it helps others. It does have a stronger smell/sting. But that would probably be overlooked if it made a difference in people suffering from these skin conditions. I'm doing better with my other purchase, for my own condition.

After paying nearly £30 for this product, and reading reviews i thought with very high hope this was going to help, but as soon as i opened it and smelt it i knew it was the same stuff i bought from a really cheap site, for £1.75p as you can imagine i was fuming, the stuff i had from a different online company, (and used the whole tube) which didnt do a thing for my hand was given a different name. But its definatley the same cheap stuff, only a lot more expensive. So im not having much hope for this either, i bought it as ive been using steroid cream from doctor, but even that only calms it down for few days. Will update in a week, and i am going to find the cheaper cream to read whats in them both. 😡
